Reviews for Luna Pizza in Colonia, NJ
Good local pedestrian pizza shop. Tomato sauce from a can, industrial cheese, bulk flour dough. They assemble the ingredients... well enough and the price reflects the quality. Order a few pies for a football game that's about it. Read more
Very nice and clean plus delicious. A bit pricey BUT it was a quality pizza so we didn't mind it
This place used to be great, don't know if there is new owners or not, but it's been getting worse , I ordered a pie came late... and cold once in a while it's fine, they have pepperoni pinwheel's used to be great now they are they were big now they wouldbarely cover a silver dollar and the bottom is burnt to a crisp, and it's 1.00 fee to use a card ,an a 2.00 delivery fee evenwith gas the way it is $2 is a little much for quarter mile ride. I was babysitting my niece yesterday and we decided to order from this place since it was the closest to the house maybe like... five minutes way. Both the girl who took my order and the delivery guy were very nice. However the rest was extremelydisappointing. The food was disgusting. I asked for a cheeseburger deluxe with fries well done with provolone cheese and theburger on the outside was completely burnt but inside was very raw I almost puked. There was no provolone cheese anywhere butinstead they smeared mayonnaise everywhere. The mozzarella sticks were okay but the slice of sicilian pizza had a very hardcrust and practically had no taste. On top of it everything arrived cold and almost an hour after placing the order which isvery surprising since the place is like five minutes away from the house. We?ll never order from this place again. Read more
I love Luna Pizza. Their Chicken Alfredo pizza with Broccoli or spinach is the bomb. I did, however, order a large everything... pie with light peppers and it had so many peppers and mushrooms, but very skimpy on the pepperoni and onions. It did also haveplenty of sausage. Just a little disappointed that's all. Read more
pretty exceptional specialty pizza shoppe. the bruschetta with chicken cutlet slice was very well prepared where the ingridients... didn't over power the phenomenal fluffy and crunchy crust of the pan pizza. the plain slice was also very good although it wassignificantly thinner in the middle and thicker towards the crust. greek salad was doused in veggies and feta cheese so that wasnice. counter people are a little agressive but at less they're on top of making sure you're taken care of Read more
The pizza was good - solid crust and bread density (as they say, "mouth feel" was good). However, the service was a little... confusing as when I asked questions, the responses from one of the staff were abrupt and didn't feel friendly. I don't know ifit was about me specifically or whether that person was having a bad day. Read more
Ordered here on a football Sunday, we expected a little bit of a wait, but what they said would be a 45-60 min wait turned out... to be a 2 hour wait. When we got our food, our pizza was cold and the dough wasn?t completely cooked through. We ordered musselsand about a quarter of them were either closed or cracked. When we called, the manager was rude and asked why we couldn?t eatclosed mussels and then said ?well what do you want, more food or your money back?? They didn?t seem to care at all. We ALWAYSorder from Luna?s and not sure what has happened lately with the quality of service after reading other reviews. We personallyreturned the food to the store and then ordered from another local pizza place who said that they would never serve mussels thatwere closed and that they have been hearing a lot of complaints about Luna?s Pizza lately. Very sad. Read more
