Was my first time having Greek in collingwood and thought I would try this place. We had the lamb burger, pork skewers, rice,... favs beans and moussaka. My lamb burger was ok, the toppings were great but the burger needed slightly more seasoning. The porkskewer portion was a small portion compared to what we are used to at other Greek places. The moussaka was ok. I’m giving it4 because the fava beans and the dessert was amazing. We had the carrot cheese cake. I would say the general portions are prettyhuge and their salad is amazing!! Outstanding Greek food! The fries and souvlaki are great value in both taste and portion. The fries came in a heaping bowl and... two sauces. The tzatziki sauce is very fresh and tangy, which is perfect for crispy fries. The feta generously sprinkled overthe fries and the sauces almost turn the dish into a Greek poutine. The lamb souvlaki is perfectly wrapped Ina thin toastedpita. The lamb slices are thick, making them juicy and flavorful. The portion of tabbouleh within the wrap is perfectlycalculated such that all the flavors work in harmony. The service is excellent given the busy lunch hours. I did not feelrushed or waited too long. I would recommend to all of my friends that plan to visit Collingwood. Read more
Finally I got to try this Greek restaurant, we ordered fried calamari, and two souvlaki chicken dinners. Everything tasted very... good, but unfortunately our chicken was overcooked so it was super dry and crumbly. Portions are generous too. I want to start by thanking all those previously who have left their reviews as this was the reason we attended this restaurant... and were definitely not disappointed. Plenty of paid parking on the city street is available. We attended on a Wednesday atapproximately 2 p.m. and there was plenty of seating. Our server, Melissa, was friendly and definitely a hard worker. Theinside restaurant was very clean including the men's washroom. All the food we ordered was fresh and extremely tasty. We lovethe fact they offered selections of Greek wine and play authentic Greek music! The takeout containers are of recyclable plasticand not Styrofoam. We will definitely be returning customers and would definitely recommend this Greek style restaurant. Read more
I had dinner with my daughter on August 10, we ordered hummus as appetizer, my daughter ordered calamari dinner and I lamb, both... dishes were served with a fantastic Greck salad, and the portion was huge!
