Not a great experience here. We ordered take out and were told it would take about an hour, it was Friday night so no big deal.... About an hour and a half later we called and were told it would be another half hour because they didn?t know where the driveris?ok. My husband went to pick up the food. They were out of samosas or something so they gave us a deep fried cauliflowerappetizer instead which was ok. The naan was great but the butter chicken and rice were both really bad. The sauce for thebutter chicken was cloyingly sweet like it had sugar dumped in it and the rice had whole cloves mixed in it?it just didn?t gotogether. Almost didn't order food from here after reading the reviews, but I'm glad we did. We were looking for halal desi food in... collingwood and this was the only place. We got shrimp biryani, Chilli chicken and chicken Tikka from here. Everything is madeto order, so you have to order 30 mins ahead. The Chilli chicken was AMAZING! Chicken Tikka was good too. The shrimp biryaniwas a bit different from how I'd like it but it didnt taste bad. I don't know why people are saying the staff is rude, Myhusband went to pick up food and had a pleasant experience. My husband forgot to order Raita but the guy made it right then forhim and didn't even charge for it. I guess customers should show restaurant workers some respect before expecting it ??????? Food is great - delicious. As as Indian I can say the food is up to par. No seating here, just take out. I advise taking the... food to a nearby park with some picnic gear and enjoying it there. Read more

Worst Indian food I have had in a while. Paneer Currys were below par, and Paneer's texture and taste was weird. Tandoori Rotis... were so hard we had to throw most of them away. The staff person at the counter was rude. I am highly suspicious of the fivestar reviews they have received. Stay away from this place. Read more

First time visited from toronto and was looking for indian restaurant and found coriander's kitchen, only Indian restaurant in... Collingwood. I bought chilli chicken, daal tarka, Butter chicken, baingain bhartha, chicken madras and naan. First of all of thedishes were excellent and on top of that not oily at all. Had to wait 30 mins because everything is fresh not ready made likeother restaurants, you can see them cooking, so it is worth waiting for the food, and the naan is so soft and crispy damn it wasso good. The stuff are so good and the owner makes you feel overwhelmed. The most surprising thing is they are all Bangladeshibut they are food is better than the other Indian restaurants I have visited. It gives you a nostalgic feeling take the firstbite. I m only gonna order from them until my stay. Thank you guys for this wonderful dinner. Read more

It was not good at all. The appetizer platter didn't have samosa which is fine but look at the platter it was all for 11 $... overcooked pakoras of paneer and others. Its just gramflour and spices with no taste in them. Biryani was still okay, i askedfor making it spicy to which they just added very much black pepper which doesn't makes it worth eating at all. They should knowwhere to use black pepper and where to use red or green chilies. Read more

Worst rice dish ever and they call it biryani. Rice were undercooked. Don't fool people who never had a biryani into thinking... they had a biryani because it's not. On top of that a medium size container costed $15.8 what a rip off. Read more
