There are two employees who short me every time I purchase ground chuck at the Collierville store. The guy who wears the bomber... jacket in 90 degree plus heat entered the store from outside and immediately came behind the counter offering his assistance.When I suggested he wash his hands first he went to the back room even though there is a hand washing station directly behindwhere he was standing. He might have been gone 20 to 30 seconds and returned. Don't know how he could have washed thoroughly anddried his hands as completely as they appeared. I always check the weight of product when I get home and compare it to thereceipt. 3.4 lbs of ground chuck when I paid for 4 lbs. is the treatment I received yesterday. I cooked it after weighing andgave it to the dogs. Man bun is the other employee who shorts me every time. I won't be shopping there again, ever! Response toowner: Bomber jacket boy always has the jacket on in the store serving customers. If I said anything to the managers and theyconfront the employee what are they going to do to the product the next time I purchase? It was quite clear to me he didn'tbother to wash his hands when requested. But he did short me intentionally as he has done virtually every time he waited on me.$50 is a nice gesture but it doesn't resolve the fact that man bun and bomber jacket boy shorted me every time they waited onme. The hand washing incident was the final straw. The reason I'm writing this review is so people will know what some employeesat Thomas Meat and Seafood are like in my opinion based on my experience. Nice and clean. Staff was helpful. Good selection of meat and seasonings. Prices are very high, I suspect this is because of the... zip code the location is in. Other Memphis area butcher shops offer much more affordable prices for the same quality meat. Read more

We ordered a Christmas meal from here. Initially, there were some problems with our order. Maybe I didn?t communicate well... enough what I wanted, or maybe things got lost in translation, or since we were forced to celebrate on the 23rd, maybe we were abit early. Either way, I had an entire family waiting to eat and things weren?t right. I hustled back to the store and the goodfolks there bent over backwards to make sure things were right. They hustled to fix the issues and after a short wait I was backhome with our Xmas dinner before the other sides were even out of the oven. We just had Thomas meat and seafood cater our wedding, let me start by saying if you want to trust anyone with your special day,... this is the place and people to turn to, they are the only vendor that I didn?t call the day of because I trusted that theywould be there and they would handle everything. Their bar service was spectacular, the food set up and taste was amazing, ifyou want the best food in the Memphis area along with the best service this is exactly what they give. We, over at A Closer Look Barbershop, love Thomas Meat & Seafood Market. Our visits began with the owner of our shop. Of course,... everyone was skeptical before going, but we sure are glad we did. We like to indulge in the daily specials. The servings areenough for two. I had pot roast with red skin mashed potatoes, and teriyaki green beans. Oh my GOD!!! The menu is different,everyday. So, you don't know what you're going to get, unless you follow on Facebook. And I love the fresh fruit as well. Chrisand the team also go out of their way for customer satisfaction.
