Just moved to town and wanted some good Sushi. Picked this as I was familiar with the mall area. Both my daughter and I really... enjoy sushi and this place was one of worst places we have had it. Never have we left sushi on the plate but we did here andleft over half. Service was not good either. We had to ask for silverware, chop sticks, napkins, soy sauce and bowls, whichactually took forever to get after the request. Server had this approach towards us like he was waiting for us to complain,which we didn't. I have been living here for 5 weeks now and have visited 2 other sushi places that are much better. I was seated right away and on a Sunday night around 6pm. Since I have never been there the waitress suggested the most popular... items. I chose the Steak and Shrimp teriyaki hibachi which came with generous portions. It was my first time trying the gingersalad, so good!!! This place has won awards for their food....for good reason. The sauce they put on their dumplings is OFF THE CHAIN! Had a... slight issue with service, but I also know that happens on occasion. Okay so I have mixed reviews about this place, the service was awesome, but the food was bland with no seasoning (asking my... other 6 guests in the process). Definitely needed more sauce on the side. Rice was undercooked & sad to say there was a hair inmy nephew?s food ???? the waitress instantly corrected it, but the food no bueno for me. 1st impression not a fan but I don?tthink there will be a next time. Absolutely not.... do not waste your time. Place is not authentic, food was extremely bland, drinks were straight juice, ginger... salad (that they forgot to bring out and we had to ask for) was drenched in dressing that tasted like.sweet mayo and not ginger.It was more like coleslaw. I ordered medium steak and chicken teriyaki. Steak came out like rubber, chicken was dry as hell. Therice was not fried rice. Not butter, garlic, seasoning or vegetables in it. It tasted like greasy minute rice and one fried init. We asked to remake steaks to medium like ordered and were told we had to wait 15 to 20 min.
