This is a tricky one. The food here is definitely not bad but there are a few things that are problematic. It is overpriced... for the experience. The flavors do not make up for the rough and tumble setup and even then there is inconsistency with some ofthe food. Today I got paneer saag with garlic naan and mango lassi. The paneer saag was ok. The Garlic naan was wonderful. Themango lassi had weird globby yogurt curds separating in it and overly sweet. The last time I ate here I got chicken tikka Osakathar was very over cooked and rubbery. Another time I went for buffet and some things were good and some were just bland. Forthe picnic style serve yourself environment and the inconsistent quality I don?t know why they are still pricing them self likethe other full service places nearby that have far superior flavors. I ordered Daal Makhani and my buddy ordered Chicken Tikka Masala. My daal had no flavor and it was uncooked and my buddy?s... chicken tasted like the cheapest rubber in the world. I knew how it would be when very first we entered, no body was thereduring lunch hr. But the 1 star I gave was for the free pickle they gave me(which costed us $20 and $30 for my buddy) to eat myrice with. This place should shut down. Avoid this place. Read more

I enjoy the Indian buffet and the new miniature eggplant dish. I, like many people, would prefer to serve myself. I would like... for rasam soup to sometimes be on the buffet. The reason that not as many people came to eat here, since this location opened, heavily has to do with a cost per calories issue. Since you have recently made an option for people that ask "can I have somemore please" I hope that you do well. I know I will be coming more often as long as the buffet option exists. Hopefully theconcentration of vegetarians in the area will assist you in your efforts as a business and I wish you the best of luck in thefuture, if and only if, the buffet price option continues. I would ask for one other thing though and that is a hot sauce optionon the buffet so that we could increase the spice level to match the level at Dosa Hut if we desired. Flavor wise of courseyou've beat them but then again you guys know that. Thanks for feeding me before I go to work. Read more

There is no option of 1 Star. Everything was poor on every level. Food served in disposable plates. I have never come across... such presentation but we had paid prior to seating . Then comes the food . Quantity was exceptionally low. Runny curry . Weordered tofu and panner . We had to look for paneer in that curry . Each curry $13.99. This is insane price . We done out atIndian every other weekend but this place is not worth the money , quality , quantity or taste . Totally avoid if you want to totry authentic india. . Waste of money Read more

The food has a wonderful flavor although even the mild version is a bit spicy. There is a good variety to choose from on the... menu or you can purchase the buffet. It is a little pricy though even with enough food for me to take home leftovers. I lovedthe mango smoothy (I forget what is was called on the menu). It is worth trying and supporting this locally ownedestablishment. Read more

Good food, but very expensive. Owner is also not too friendly. One time she tried to kick us out after staying for too long?no... one else was in the restaurant! No where near closing time! Paying customer! I love this food and used to go at least 4-6 timesa month. Now, I?m kind of burned out. Lunch for two should not cost $38! If you want to save money, do the buffet. Read more

Despite the serve-yourself style of service this place is worth the stop. Delicious authentic Indian food with plenty of options... for both carnivore and vegetarian or vegan. Their Dal soup is to die for. Read more

This Indian Restaurant is a very popular place in Collegedale and opened a week ago. I love Indian food cuisine so this is a... much welcome addition to my home town. It is buffet style you pick what you want from the buffet and dine in or takeout. Thebottle water is free with the meal. There are regular or vegetarian options to choose from. Give it a try you won't bedisappointed. There might be a line but well worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable too. Read more
