Fantastic experience. Service was great and our server was extremely nice and attentive. Food was excellent. Had brunch and... thoroughly enjoyed it. Chicken fried steak and eggs, Eggs Benedict, Creme Brulee, and an espresso chocolate pie which wasexcellent as well. Drank a Mimosa bucket and Strawberry Limoncello lemon drop cocktails that were fabulous. This was not myfirst time here probably 5th or 6th and each time has been great. The place is consistent. It's an interesting place. My wife had wanted to go for awhile. The menu has fairly modern American fair. The food was pretty... good. They did an ok job with my allergies but I still had to pick out an allergen that appeared to have come from my wife'sfood, I'm not sure how it got there before it arrived though. The flavor pairings in our dishes seemed odd but not necessarilybad. I'm sure some people will thoughroughly enjoy the experience as the insides are well designed and furnished, but I'm notsure I'd eat there again. Read more

Urban Table is a great restaurant and bar in College Station, kind of a retreat from the bustling side of the city. If you... haven?t been, it?s time for you to get over there. Sit in Trent?s section if you can because he gave great recommendations. Thequeso was enjoyable as were the desserts and I thoroughly enjoyed my salmon and brussel sprouts. Delicious Food! The menu has something for everybody, except for perhaps very young children. My husband, son and myself each... ordered something different. Portions were expertly cooked, served nice and hot, and were filling. We tried each others? mealsand were all impressed. Very flavorful food. This restaurant only had one thing that I would recommend they do differently. Theyuse small glasses if you request water to drink. They bring a wine-sized bottle of slightly chilled water to the table for allto share. Without ice, the water is soon room temperature. The waitress had to bring new bottles to our little table of threeseveral times. I would have much preferred full-sized glasses of iced water refilled once or twice by the waitress with apitcher. If you order a tea or soft drink, those beverages are served with ice in full-sized glasses. I think they are going foran upscale vibe serving water this way, but it interferes with, what was otherwise, a nearly perfect meal for three. We will goback for sure, but if management sees this review in the meantime, please consider serving and refilling iced water in the samemanner as you do other soft drinks and tea. Read more
