Heard this place was okay, and saw decent reviews so I decided to give it a try. The foghorn leghorn chicken was not crispy dry... and lacked seasoning, the sandwich flavor was lacking all around. This place. Quite possibly my new fave place. Their chicken is on point. The fries are great, whether by themselves, or one of... the loaded options (Yellowstoned are amazing). The mojo chicken experience is So Fly and it's everything I've ever wanted in a chicken sandwich shop. Crazy good flavors. A... little hard to customize the combos, but paying full price for the craft fries is very worth it. Customer service is impressivefor a medium busy Sunday lunch crowd. Ambiance is great albeit a little loud. I love the playlist. Chairs were comfortable inboth spacing between tables and for sitting. If it gets too loud they'll turn it down for you too. We?re keen to support local businesses who aren?t opening up their dining rooms and prioritising public health over their... pre-COVID approach to business. Definitely give this place a try! We ordered via Doordash, and opted for a Big Bad Mutha CluckaSandwich, Waffle and Nuggs, Pyro Fries and Pepper Jack Mac. We ordered at 6:29pm, and were given a 30 minute estimate. It took alittle longer, 50 minutes. We?re not sure if Doordash provide these estimates, but something to keep in mind if you want/needsomething fast. A big challenge to food delivery is the packaging. Sadly, the fries came in plastic and were soggy to the pointof not being enjoyable, and we tossed them. The cilantro cream had settled into a fudge texture, and the result wasn?t verypleasant. I?d stay away from the fries in future, which is unfortunate as they?re usually my favourite bit! I?ve includedpictures of the items in this review below, so you can see for yourself what you receive, and you can see the amount of waterthat has condensed onto the lid of the box. Next up, the sandwich. Coming wrapped in paper is a major plus, but the sandwichwas lukewarm. I think this could be prevented through using an anti-tamper sticker to seal the paper bag ? something we?d liketo see given the terrible COVID situation anyway. The slaw had a vinegary, softly acidic taste that was delightful with the heatof the chicken and sweetness of the bun. The bite of the pickle was great! The one let down was the cilantro stalks inside,which got caught in our mouths and was a distraction from the otherwise smooth experience of this chicken sandwich. The ratio ofingredients was perfect, the amount of sauce striking the ideal balance. It?s big, portion size of this sandwich far outdoesfast food competition e.g. Chick Fil A. Was not happy. Fries were not good and needed seasoning or salt. Chicken was OK but was missing Flavor. The buns were average.
