Poopy is the new best restaurant in college station, everything is cooked over a wood fire which means that: 1. Everything is... absolutely delicious 2. It smells heavenly in there The food portions are small, which is actually a good thing because itmeans you can try multiple courses without feeling overly full, and you’ll definitely want to try multiple things given theirmenu ranges from locally sourced quail and buck, to Hawaiian fish varieties and locally sourced vegetables. The wine list isvery appropriate and the staff is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly nice. Read more

Great atmosphere and fantastic food. The porkcheek was one of the best things I have ever eaten. This is what College Station... has been missing. Read more

This is truly a unique place. There is something for everyone... foodies will love everything on the menu, so fresh with the... Farm to Table concept. They have 12 craft beers on tap and a heavy wine list all available by the glass! The food is amazingand we loved pairing a drink with each course. On weekends I would highly recommend calling to make reservations ahead of time.Parking can be difficult, but we learned that you can Valet at The George. Read more

Unlike any dining experience in Bryan-College Station! All the food is farm to table, so the menu is changing often. While the... portions are small, it's a great opportunity to order multiple items and share, like tapas. If the presentation doesn't blow youaway, the constant explosion of flavor in every dish will surely impress you! I highly recommend trying Poppy's out -- we'll beback for more! It's more of an experience, in the fact that you want time to enjoy every plate, and it's not expected you sitdown, get your food and leave within 45 minutes. Make reservations for large groups. What a great experience! Let me preface this review with, don’t expect to leave full as a tick. This is more of a tapas... restaurant, where you order several different items and they are served in very small portions. I went with a group of 4 and wetried many different menu options. Menu is small, but the food seriously delivers! My favorite appetizer/starter/what have youwas definitely the tuna hands down. We tried just about every entree item and not one disappointed me. The halibut, pork cheeks, and quail were all AMAZING! There were 2 options for dessert, the three others i was with did not enjoy the bread pudding but ifound it very tasty, despite it not being traditional. We also had a very tasty French press with dessert. The ambiance wasfantastic and there was a lot of attention paid to detail throughout the restaurant and experience as a whole. The only drawbackwould be do not come here in a hurry, be ready to take your time and soak it all up. This is of course not even a week intoopening, but i see this restaurant really taking off!
