Visiting from out of town and decided to pick up dinner. Had great service and a welcoming host. Ordered the Nagiri mix and the... VIP roll. Most of the Nagiri was blow torched so much of it tasted the same. The vip roll was covered in mayo. Happy to see thestaff wearing masks properly. I ordered chirashi which has 12 pieces of different fish served with wasabi and ginger. Portion was really satisfying and... ingredients were all fresh and tasted great. I also ordered tempura cheesecake that is served warm and it was also great,actually I think this version of cheesecake tastes better than the regular one. Staff was very friendly and they regularlychecked for water refills and asked me if everything was good. Overall, I have had one of my best experiences in College Stationin terms of dining in. Great experience with our very efficient server Will. The crab balls are excellent value with 4 huge pieces (imitation crab but... still tasty) for $5. Ahi tuna bowl is massive; easily lunch and dinner for a light eater. The teriyaki pork gets a 4/5 for me -too much sauce and a bit too salty. Overall, great value for reasonable Japanese-American cuisine. Total $31 with tax and tipfor app and two entrees. Read more
Everything was delicious. From the Cowboy Burrito (I know - but it's in rice paper rather than a tortilla, with tuna,... salmon...) to the red bean ice cream (that sounded weird enough that I had to try it too). It was all great. Read more
Food was good but service MEGA rushed. I?m not sure what happened. We ordered some sushi rolls, entrees and I ordered some sake... but I also asked for the dessert menu. We were given our check halfway through our main meal with no time to order dessert.Please let us chill, drink a bit and have dessert. The longer we are there the better we tip (of course we still tip). We got nodessert which was sad but not a big deal. Maybe they were just nervous but it made my friend and I feel like they wanted us out. Read more
