Came for takeout. They were so sweet. Offered me water while I waited. Super clean and the place smelled so good. The food... itself is so good. Very fresh and flavorful. Not expensive at all!! Will definitely be coming back for a sit down meal. Read more
Too good for words... came all the way back from NEPA to have neighborhood sushi and as always never a disappointment. 6... different rolls perfectly paired beer and glass. Salad and miso soup a home run and came to from after tripping balls atTompkins square park all day... amped Crackers Read more
Not an authentic japanese restaurant. I ordered their gyudon and the rice was soaked in sauce, almost soupy. And there?s... brocolli, carrots, and other stuff not on the original gyudon. And the beef are flat strips. Pls make authentic japanese food. Read more
Was looking for a new place to try out in this part of town and stumbled upon this Japanese restaurant. Thought I got lost since... the restaurant was somewhat located next to a strip of stores and across the street from a mall. The service is good. Theyrefilled my cup of tea without me asking for a refill, but I must say the food is just mediocre. The pork strips in the tonkatsuwas hard to chew even though the cutlet was thin. The shrimp in the shrimp tempura maki was non-existent. I was eating rice withseaweed and tempura crunch. The beef in the beef teriyaki was quite thick as well resulting in the necessity of using a knife tocut the beef into smaller pieces. The shrimp tempura appetizer came with a hot soup for dipping, which was nice. It made eatingthe shrimp tempura manageable instead of biting into oil as one may experience sometimes. Overall, I would skip this place asthere are other Japanese restaurants that are better in my opinion, but if you?re looking for a quick bite to eat in the area,it?ll satisfy your hunger. Read more

Very good lunch special (Bento Box). The waitress could have been friendlier.
