Horrible experience! I paid $20.00 for this! I was charged $20.00 for this small amount of food! This was suppose to be spinach... and fish stew. Lies! This is not even a half of a whole fish. When I went in to ask the lady who prepared my food where was therest of my fish, she explained, that was all my food, walked away from me, and ignored me. She did nothing to make the situationbetter. No apology, no explanation, nothing to rectify my first and now last experience. I walked out and will never go back tothis establishment again! My family and I came to Atlanta for a short visit I ordered waakye and banku for my husband. The waakye was okay it tasted like... they burnt the rice which almost ruined my meal. The okro stew was so oily and light my husband took two bites and refused toeat the rest. The customer service is absolutely terrible I waited an extra 30 mins for my food when I was told it would beready in 20 mins (after driving 40 mins to the restaurant). You?re not even acknowledged when you walk in. I think I would givethis place another try when I return it has potential but it?s really lacking in customer service. Read more

I contemplated making this review, but I think it needs to be said. I ordered an okra stew with beef paid $20 and asked for... assorted meat instead. When I went to pick up my order the women with the nose ring said it would be $15 dollars extra! Iveordered this dish several times from several restaurants and its never been that much.I basically paid for a whole other meal.I was clearly being taken advantage of. My sister and I wanted to try African food to see what the hype was because we saw mukbangers eating it like it was so good. We... ordered Egusi soup with fish...we wanted goat but they were out. We also ordered Joli rice...I think that's what you callit...but we ordered it with chicken. Everything was OK except for the rice. The rice tasted like a cigarette. It tasted as if ithad been cooked in an ash tray. We decided that we would try the rice at another place just to see if that's how it was reallysuppose to taste. Very bad customer service. They don?t even greet customers, standed there for atleast 5 mins without being acknowledged. I... ordered Peanut soup and Fufu. They gave me a pitiful serving of Peanut soup filled with OIL. I opened the container while thereto taste it and it was disgusting, so much oil I could not taste the flavor. I almost vomited after trying it. I asked for arefund, she said no lol. The lady took it back and gave another with less oil. Instead of apologizing she got super defensiveand rude. She told me next time to just remove the oil myself LMAO WHAT?? I said for $18 I?m supposed to remove it myself?! Thesmall container it comes with would be basically gone with the amount of oil there was in it. I?ve supported this businessatleast 4 times. The first time I went the food was perfect and service was okay but ever since then it?s gone down hill.Service is always bad and the food is terrible. They need to take pride in the food and only give out food that is good.
