I love pizza. I have loved pizza since I was a teenager. I worked at an Italian restaurant to have access to unlimited pizza. I... have traveled to Italy and enjoyed their delicious plethora of creative pizzas. However, I have never had a better pizza thanRancho Pizza in the little town of Coleman, Tx. Yes, that is crazy! My wife and I had the Fungi and the Carne pizza. Those twocould not be more different in their taste, but both were perfect. The crust takes you to downtown Rome, and the flavors reduceyour speech to monosyllabic communication, such as: "mmm" and "wow." Both pizzas are strong, intense, crunchy, and tasty. Iwould highly recommend this place. The music is at the right volume and well-chosen. The service is excellent, and theatmosphere is irresistible. We tried one of Rancho's Salads, and it was awful. But who cares? The restaurant's name is RanchoPizza and not Rancho Salad, right? Read more

My family and I got the impression that these guys are prejudice. Yes we are Hispanic. We walked in there was not many people in... and they told us they ran out of dough!? Dough!? At a pizza parlor? I drive to Coleman Texas just for this Pizza. It?s exceptional and worth the drive. My favorite is the Fungi Pizza. The... mushrooms,the sauce,the garlic and the truffle oil?my mouth is watering for it as I write. The crust is perfectly cooked on thewood fired oven and is full of flavor. Only miss for me is they don?t service Diet Coke and I hate water,but that won?t stop mefrom coming?it?s that good! Read more
Such a surprise!! Several locals recommended this eatery during our brief stay in town. We had some delicious, crispy, exotic... pizzas our first night and went back the next night to enjoy another Peach Bellini and some vanilla ice cream. Great ambianceand service. Kudos: Excellent pizza! Wonderful crust. Flavorful, generous toppings. Adequate service. Oddities: Menu lacked an option to... custom build a pizza. Seating layout was odd?inefficient use of space and privacy prohibitive. Online photos from a few yearsago show a different seating arrangement that works better. Table setting lacked knives. Caesar salad was served with wholeromaine leaves, but with no knives available it was a challenge to cut with a fork. Extra charge for using a credit card. Read more
