Ordered a family style meal from the menu. Was told they only served to four people. This was not stated anywhere on the menu. I... stated that that was the only choice that worked for my diet since all other choices included bread and other items that I donot eat so we would pay for our drinks and leave. The chef came out of the kitchen and said I was being rude. I paid for thedrinks for the party of three and left. The chef followed us onto the parking lot still accusing me of being rude. I had the pulled pork egg rolls and I will never be the same again! I won't even try another menu item --- at least until I get... over this obsession. I had both side dishes available today, smoked mac & cheese and potato hash. The mac & cheese was excellentbut the potato hash was a little on the cool side. I would also like salt and pepper on the table since the potato hash had noblack pepper. The restrooms are immaculate and they're single seater. They should take the male and female symbols off the door.I went in the men's when the women's was occupied. The band, Pretty Boyz, was outstanding. They played an eclectic blend ofmusic, from Tom Petty to INXS to Dobie Gray and Janis Joplin. Sunshine, the co-owner and server, has a pleasant attitude. Sheasked me to dance when she wasn't busy. She is attentive and my glass of Michelob Ultra never ran empty. James Roaché, theother owner, is a real chef, not just some fella putting barbecue on a bun. His dishes are unique. He locally sources and growssome of the vegetables in his Victory Garden at home. I wish I could give them a 10! I went back tonight - a week later - forOpen Mic Night. I had the Pig Wings (ribs) with the Asian sauce. It was very tasty. A cloth napkin was a nice touch. My onlycomplaint was too much char on the meat for my taste. But I'm the type who wants my Waffle House hash browns with no dark brownor crunchy parts. The band. House Blend band, played for the vocalists and they did a great job. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Red?s is the real deal. From open mic night (lots of local talent) to the... booked acts, the music is great! But the FOOD will blow you away. Chef James has perfected his menu to offer the best that asmoker can deliver. He cooks on only cast iron with wood for heat in his kitchen. The food is off the charts! The music is always fantastic. Guests will greet you as you enter the building, which is rustic... and comfortable. I have become quite the regular, and I've never dined on the same thing twice. There's always something freshand new. The entertainment is constantly changing and never disappoints. If your soul has any adventure, you need to checkthis place out. If there's no adventure in your palate, and if you're in a hurry to eat and leave, this is not the place foryou! Read more

I came over to Red?s last night to hear some good music, and they did not disappoint. It was excellent. Every time I have come... there has been live music and it is always great. The place is rustic and authentic in a way that makes you feel you havedriven miles through the woods and past the swamp to discover it, but it right in town. I tried the food for the first timelast night, and I my expectations were low. I was wrong. The boudin balls were very good with just the right spice level for me.I made some new friends who had ribeye that looked amazing and fillet which looked even better. Grits looked so good I almostasked for a bite. Then a French toast dessert. I don?t know how far from Coldwater I would have to drive to find food as good asthis, but I was shocked by how good it is. And Sunshine. Sunshine is her name. She is like warm light and a cool breezetogether, and she will not let you go hungry or thirsty. We loved the atmosphere! Excellent customer service!!! Superb food!! Everything is smoked over pit! Love the cajun flavors too!!... Made us feel like we were back home in Louisiana!! He making amazing boudin too!! Today we had the sausage cheese plate andchicken fried steak. Please stop in and taste his food!! He's open thurs thru sun.
