The building itself is beautiful with lots of local artist paintings, antique piano, decorative fire place; a great place to... read! So I figured the food & drink would match the same level of fancy & quaint.... Then I watched them cook my meal from rawin a microwave & it all felt cheap! Wow so disappointing! The frap was tasty but was comparing to Starbucks large cause of pricesimilarity, so felt disappointed when received a much smaller slightly lesser quality coffee tasting drink. All in all I feltit's a great place to read & relax but the quality & substance of their product doesn't match up to the aesthetics. Read more
Great decor. Lots of varieties of drinks and desserts. They have a lunch menu but we didn't get to try it - it sounded delicious... though! I got a hot Vietnamese coffee and my wife got a tea latte.. both were delicious. Oh! And we had a brownie and it waspossibly the best brownie of all time! Read more
Great atmosphere and really good coffee! I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and was not disappointed. I would definitely try the... paninis here for lunch as they looked delicious. Several posters were up for some events including once for "The Office" trivianight. Parking is available in the lot (maybe about 15 spots) and plenty available on the street as well. Will definitely comeback and make this a regular spot! Read more
I had the daily special which was the 1/2 bowl vegetable soup and Reuben sandwich. The wife had a full bowl of vegetable soup... and biscuit. The wife thought that the biscuit was a little small but tasty. The soup was very good and homemade. I liked theReuben sandwich overall and had a good balance of taste. Service got better but in the beginning she seemed a little upset thatwe wanted to move to a better chair as the one's that we were in were more reclined and not good for eating. That was only shortlived and she was nice afterwards. The owners are very nice and managing through this tough time. It's nice to support abusiness that is not a chain. I love the look of this place and the assortment of chairs and areas to sit. It gives you thefeeling of being at home and you can relax and enjoy. If you go to Timmies or McD's and the uncomfortable seating which aredesigned to make you want to finish quickly and leave. You never have that feeling here. Read more
