Whelp, this isn?t a review I like to leave. I?ve been to Syringa before, but tonight was like none other. First and foremost,... the salad I received had PAPER TOWEL in it. No - not a piece of paper towel. Like a balled up piece of paper towel. It ended upin my mouth and I had ?dissected? it to try and figure out what it was. Absolutely disgusting. The server, when informed, saidsorry and took it away. Silence ? Secondly, I was delivered an entirely wrong meal. I waited about 30 minutes for the rightmeal to be delivered after notifying our server. Everyone at my table was done eating by the time mine arrived. Once received,my meal was fine. We were there for my husbands birthday. I am so thankful his rolls were delicious and timely. He enjoyedhimself thoroughly. My experience was the exception to the overall experience my table received (which is why I?m rating 2versus 1). I am so disappointed. The best part? Even though my server was well aware of our issues (he messed up the order andtook the paper towel wad away without discussion) we weren?t offered any discount or any consolation to the lack of quality Ireceived. I didn?t say a thing - paid full price and left. So sadly disappointed. We won?t be back. There are many other sushioptions in the area - this lack of quality is not worth the cost. Read more

I cannot stress this enough. If you like sushi, this is a must on your dining out rotation. I have never had a bad experience... with this restaurant. My only regret is that I don't go more often, but I try to go once a month. Try the godzilla. Read more

The sushi rice was inconsistent, service a bit slow. Not a lot of fish in the rolls, the seaweed was tough. Fresh fish was... nice Curry was not spicy at all, but I bought some home and my wife loved it. Great veggies in the tempura Beer wasreasonably priced for a restaurant The potato croquettes were ridiculously tasty, even though I got those to go and reheatedthem in my oven at home. In conclusion, I'll return for a beer and the croquettes, but the sushi was disappointing to me whileeverything else was average. It's too easy to make curry at home for it to be worth it here.
