My husband and I came here on a whim and WOW the sushi exceeded our expectations. Every roll and the nigiri was delicious. It is... on the pricier side, but it's worth every penny. Read more

My son wanted some 'real' sushi for his birthday meal (rather than just the grocery store variety), so I told him to pick a... place and he chose Shiki. His choice was excellent! I have lived in Japan and also traveled to Japan several times in my yearsand upon walking into this place, I could have believed that I was somewhere in downtown Osaka. The atmosphere is authenticand has the feel of a real Japanese restaurant. Not only did my son have some 'real' sushi, he also tried shashimi for thefirst time and really liked it. I will definitely be going back; especially when any of my Japanese friends are in the area andwant an authentic experience. Read more

Went on Saturday evening around 8pm, had about a 25 minute wait but it seemed like we did get sat sooner, and it did seem like... there were two levels of dining. The takayoki app was incredible and honestly we could have ordered multiple apps and been morethan happy with it all. Then we both get two rolls a piece. I really enjoyed them all however if you want to come here and getrolls that are "within the norms of the other local sushi places" this is not the place and probably my only really largecomplaint as several rolls had items like lettuce or it was spicy in some manner between spicy tuna spicy mayo, siracha, mustardsauce, spicy salmon etc, which can make it hard for those who aren't a fan.. Most of the rolls are outside of what is normallyoffered in spokane/cda areas but that is probably in my opinion what makes this place so unique on the flip side of that samecoin. It was all pretty good and tasty. The service was probably the most lacking I've had at a sushi restaurant in the area andwas definitely a bit on the slow side but it seemed like it was one waiter to a lotttttt of tables and we typicallydont mindwaits etc the issue was more so the lack of anything else like checking in, getting the check promptly etc. Overall a funexperience with beautifuly presented food and an okay selection of non-sushi items for those who dont enjoy it (although wedidnt get to try any of it outside of the app). Will definitely be back at some point or another down the road for more and togive it another second chance! Read more

Sushi delax was decent n we liked. Overall food was ok. Our table was neglected by a waitress. Yet we could see how she was busy... n understand it, she forgot bringing something what we asked n waited not eating one of dish for 15min without complaining. Toget a check took time too, because her customers had asked so many things at th same time, that she said. She didnt even remeberwhat we asked n excused how she was busy. Parking; street parking. Not stellar, not horrible, and would try again. These days, while the dollar doesn?t stretch as far, I really want my eating... out experience to me fantastic, and when it?s not, I?m left feeling like it was money wasted and I could have just madesomething better at home. While the sushi tasted fresh, there wasn?t a lot of depth to the flavor of the rolls we ordered. Thefood left us desiring something more tantalizing. The atmosphere was comfortable, overall a little loud. We will give itanother try someday and see if a different selection of rolls will leave us more satisfied. Read more
