Old School Liquor bar is outstanding. For people thinking of checking the place out for the first time, please don?t be deterred... by the older reviews. This location was previously a different bar with a less than stellar reputation. The new owners havecompletely remodeled the place. By completely, I mean gutted and rebuilt. The restrooms were not just revamped, they were tornout and built new at the opposite end of the building. Beautiful widows that used to be covered up are now exposed and providewonderful natural light. Previously hidden brick work is now visible and adds a lovely country charm. The décor is westernelegance at it?s best. The staff is engaging, knowledgeable, and makes a damn fine drink. There is plenty of comfortableseating, a roomy bar, pool table, darts and even a back deck where you can enjoy a smoke with your drink. The man pouring the drink's behind the bar, gives a stoutpour, and worth every penny. I actually have been telling many people that I have found a new favorite place. First time in since they opened. We waited until they had a food truck. Taco Works super shredded beef tacos paired nicely with... the cold draft beer. Not crowded, good service and nice atmosphere. We'll go back many times, I'm sure. Read more

Happened to stop here after dinner just because I'd never been and the place did not disappoint! They had live country music... the night I was there....pool table, darts and the irresistible scent of popcorn that begged to be asked about! Old School has absolutely the Best Staff to ever run a Bar! My Wife and I get treated like VIP from the moment we first walk... in... I cannot express enough how pleased we are with this place... from the great atmosphere to the friendly service, it's allaround a fun place to be!!! I highly recommend! Absolutely amazing inside. Chill, fun local place to hang out. I didn't see this location before the remodel (formly the... Shanty), but regardless it was easy to see the owners put a lot of thought into make this a great place to go. Their selectionof drinks available, location, remodel, and great music got them 4 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately the first 3 of the 4.5 hoursour group of five was there, we weren't given any service at our table. We had to take turns going up to the bar and orderingfor the table, so we could continue to hang out and not all have to wait at the bar. Even then, it the bartenders were ignoringpeople waiting to order. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I'm willing to give this place another shot because of allthe great reasons I listed.
