Reviews for Trailhead Bar - Grill - Wood Fired Pizza in Cody, WY
Great restaurant, both in terms of food and service. My wife and I went there for dinner (call ahead, they're likely to be full... if you're just walking by, at least at dinnertime), and we were very pleased. Everything was good, in particular the pizza andthe crème brûlée (one of the best we've ever had). Our server was wonderful, went into enough detail when asked but didn'tover explain. Other reviews mention it, but expect to spend at least $25, or more realistically at least $35 per person. Thesearen't cheap eats, but they are definitely good eats. Read more
We tried Trailhead this past Saturday for the first time. While the food was out of this world good, the restaraunt itself was... not. The table was sticky, the outside of our water pitcher had black crunchy spots stuck to it, and the walls had peelingpaint. Live music and wait staff were ok. Food comparable in cost to Chico?s Resort in Montana, without all the courses Chico?sprovides. Regardless, for an eating establishment in Cody, WY, I was impressed with the food. Read more
Literally would come back to Cody for a few just to eat here and try everything on the menu. A+ place- the Brussel Sprouts app... is to die for and pasta is absolutely perfect. Excellent service as well! Read more
We've eaten here twice, and each time was an interesting experience. First, the food is DELICIOUS. However, if you're going to... go thinking you'll have access to the full menu, then don't go at all. When they say they have brunch from 10-2, they mean theyONLY have brunch. When they have happy hour from 3-5, they ONLY have a happy hour menu. Both examples above are short, limitedmenus, and didn't offer any of the lunch or dinner items that we saw on their website and wanted to try. Pizzas? Delicious. Bewarned, though, the size changes depending on the time of day. On our last visit, we paid $30+ for 6 wings and a 6"pizza (whichwas NOT made clear to us) and we left feeling frustrated and hungry. Not saying that we won't ever go back, but between thefrustration in food selections and costs that seem a bit high for what you get, it will be a while before we give it a tryagain. Read more
WOW! We were incredibly impressed. Long story short, we got caught in Yellowstone National Park during the flooding and we were... craving pizza for weeks! We were told to come to Cody and at a thrift shop we were recommended Trailhead. We stopped by onMonday when they were closed but the owner Nathan was so kind and welcoming. He gave us a tour of the venue and restaurant frontand back of house. we made our reservations and came back a few days later. TOTALLY WORTH THE WAIT!!! The pizza was amazing, fries delicious! We went back for more another day because we became friends with Nathan. He has treated us like family, evengoing to his family?s Fourth of July celebration!!! The linguine del mare was freaking BOMB!!! My partner has loved the beer ontap and we have been adventurous with our tastebuds! Seriously such an amazing town with lovely people and this has got to bethe best spot for gourmet food in town! Ten out of ten would recommend ?????????? Read more
A friend took us here for dinner while in Cody. Son had skirt steak which was a bit dry. No steak sauce available either.... Fingerling potatoes were too salty. I had a pizza with fig sauce and honey. It was very tasty. Husband had a burger which hesaid was quite good. Friend had the duck pasta which was good but short on pasta and heavy on salt. Fun and happening place. I?dgo again and get the same thing, - people I was with would try different items. Read more
Food was great. Definitely try the Parmesan risotto and the wood fried pizzas. Good service, but a little slow (think they were... short staffed) My fries were soggy (they even looked soggy). Our server did bring us a new order of fries ( but did not tastefresh, prob just refried some of the old ones) Overall, good experience and good food ???????? Read more
Were it not for Google Reviews we would have never visited the Trailhead Bar / restaurant. I'm glad that we trusted the reviews... of other patrons because the food was great. However, while the desserts were tasty we found them lacking considering theexpense. ( Should the photos attach as hoped, the desserts shown were $18. The beer was perhaps the tastiest we've had at anylocation. ) Read more
