Additional Information
Too salty food. Potatoes in the salad were raw. Mushroom sauce came out of a package, sauerkraut was not leaked thoroughly. The... Schnitzel could not be more away from Germany than the restaurant location. This had nothing to do with German food.Serverfitted in as she was very loud and put everything hard on the table. I really don't know which region in Germany serves smallSchnitzels that are that salty. Please provide the region, so I can visit it when i get back home as we are the Germanneighbors. I live in the Netherlands and my grandmother is from Germany. I have been to every state in Germany and never hadsuch bad food. I have had a Schnitzel in Leipzig, München and Stuttgart which were twice as big and cheaper. The meat was grayand on another table it was raw. Please don't question my German heritage Read more
Onion soup with a small slice of cheese. Tasty but was a poor excuse for an onion soup. Rahm schnitzel and a Jager schnitzel... ordered. Both served with gravy congealed on top and cold. Sent food back, it was warm this time although it was obvious thatthe congealed gravy was still on there. Do not get these! When we told waitress it was bad, she said ?I guess you want theticket?. Save your money. Read more
We tried sooooo hard to make it work with this place. We love German culture and food, but tonight this place let us down AGAIN.... We gave it more than 4 chances. We were very understanding. We called ahead about the availability of pretzels with beer cheesebecause they weren't available last time. We were assured that our family would have what we wanted. We got there, only 4pretzels available and NO beer cheese. Too many problems to mention. Chips in glassware. Not many beers on tap. No foodavailable that was advertised on the menu. The deserts are so old-like cardboard. They charged us a $34 "room fee" because wehad 6 people. Wait staff is clueless. I really wanted this to be "our" place in Cody, but we can't afford to give Glashaus Cardianymore chances. Especially with a hidden $34 fee that they refused to refund. Don't order the Kümmerling!! It's $9 and is ashot in a bottle. Total rip off. Read more

Friendly staff, delicious food and drinks. Authentic German food. Our server, Rhonda, mentioned she usually hosts. She was... GREAT! Our experience was fabulous. We are so glad we found this gem in Cody. The cook came out and chatted with us to ask abouthow our food was. Definitely will be back next time we are in the area. The table of honor (POW/MIA) was an unexpected featurethat was appreciated by this military family. Read more
