As soon as my friend and I saw the signage around Cocowalk of their happy hour, we ran to it! Happy hour is from 4 to 7 every... single day! We sat in the bar and we enjoyed our martinis that were amazing. Service was great but I felt sorry for thebartender who was alone working at the bar. We?ve been meaning to come here since the Coral Gables Seafood festival where we tried their food. The owners seems very down to... Earth and their cooking was great. We came early on a Tuesday night around 6:30, no reservations were needed. Happy hour wasgoing on, 4 PM to 7 PM - available at bar and at tables. While we didn?t get any of the cocktails available for happy hour (all$8), we did get the yuca fries which brought enough to share for 2-4 people. All tapas on happy hour were $8 and there was avariety. Most cocktails are around $18, we got the Bill Dog and Great Whale. If you are gin lovers this is definitely the placefor you. The cocktails are large and definitely pack a punch. Now onto the appetizers. The yucca fries had a very good chipotleand cilantro garlic sauce. We also got the tuna tartare ($19) which was very good, definitely recommend. For dinner: - GrilledSpanish octopus ($31) - it was edible, but I?ve had better. The char on it was perfect but I felt like the texture was a bitrubbery and overall lacked flavor. The star of the dish was definitely the beet purée. Felt like it was overpriced for what yougot. - Jumbo sea scallops ($37) - delicious, tender, served with a savory lemon-ginger butter cream sauce on top of asparagus.Definitely worth a try and the reason why I rated 4 instead of 3 stars. We just hosted a brunch for my sister in law?s baby shower and it was fabulous! Highly recommend!! The place is beautiful and... they were so accommodating about our decorations and how we wanted to set everything up and even offered to let us pick thecolor of our plates to match the decor? I mean, who does that?? They even opened the restaurant early so we could set up. Whenour guests arrived, mimosas were waiting as planned and we were so well taken care of throughout the event. Modern style restaurant with an impressive and picture-worthy bar capable of just about any drink you can think of. The menu is... limited but it covers a wide variety of options with a focus on American cuisine. Service is pretty good with attentive staff.They do have seating outside, which is great for people with four-legged friends. Read more
The atmosphere ls great the place is fancy and clean. Service was good but there was just 2 tables to attend since I went for... lunch, also the waiter forgot my side of French fries but I thought that It was a signal from god to don?t eat fried food butthen he brought it and I was happy with it. This is a great bar restaurant, very well located, food is delicious and if you like cocktails and gin, they have a great... selection. We tried different gin cocktails and although i am not a fan of gin, they were great! Food was all delicious andambience was great. Totally recommended for a Saturday date night ???? Read more
