The pho was good for its purpose as I needed a noodle soup to eat while sick. Unsure if the chefs changes or recipe changed but... no longer the half decent pho that I remember. Broth lacked depth and beef flavour that you normally get from slowly cookingbeef bones for hours and it was too sweet. The restaurant gave parsley as replacement for Thai basil but it isn?t thesame. Looks like I?ll continue making the journey to Calgary for pho cravings. Read more

Cochrane has a lot of good Vietnamese food but Hong Thai is certainly the best. The flavours are more fresh and vibrant. It is... owned and operated by a mother and son. 100% recommend. Read more
My boyfriend and I went here from our trip to the mountains and I don?t know if we were just hungry or what,, but the food... tasted really good!! Especially their spicy pho, so delicious! And great service as well! My bf and I are from High river and wewill definitely come back some time. Definitely worth it. Read more

This place desperately needs more staff!! It's an extremely long wait for food everytime we come here, so we end up starving by... the time the food comes. Ashley the server is so extremely pleasant and fantastic, but everytime I come here she is alwaysracing around trying to serve everyone and do everything herself, there should be at least two servers to take the pressure offof her, and speed up service! The food is great, but don't come here expecting to eat quickly, the entire table doesn't even getthe food all at once, so someone always ends up sitting and watching others eat. Ordering ahead over the phone for takeout isprobably best. The place just needs more workers. Read more
We found the food quite bland in comparison to other Vietnamese we have had. The beef in the vermicelli was over done, thick and... very chewy, it was not pleasant to eat. Also, don't get the pork sausage (it's more like spam). The sub wasn't bad, but the sameproblem with the beef, they should slice it thinner and not cook it so long so it's easier to chew, especially in sandwichformat. Read more
