Snuck in on waffel Sunday for some coffee and was super happy with the food and drinks. I got a mocha and he got a London fog.... The London fog was the first we've ever tried and it had great flavors. Waffels were very tasty and we stocked up on day oldmuffins at a great deal! Can't wait to try them! First time here. They were super slow with our food. We noticed they didn't give us a number but though it was maybe because... ours was to go. Pretty sure they forgot about our order until we went up and asked about it as people after us got their foodbefore us. Read more
Always a wonderful experience. Their baked goods are delicious and their coffees are roasted in house to perfection. Tho they... may be slower than most fast food establishments they are one of my top choices in town. Whether you are in the go of there tostay it?s a great place to enjoy. Read more
Had an iced tea, bruschetta and a brownie. Everything was exceptionally good,so was the ambience and service. Five stars.
Don?t go for the cinnamon buns or coffee. Arrived shorty after 8 AM on Saturday to get two cinnamon buns, gluten free muffin and... a short espresso. I was told that cinnamon buns would be ready between 8:30 and 9:00 AM. Got the one gluten free muffin to goand asked for a short espresso. Despite this being a coffee shop with a large La Marzocco machine, worker told me she could notmake a short espresso. Okay fine. Went back to house to read the news and make my own coffee. Returned to Coffee Traders at 8:55AM only to be told that cinnamon buns would be ready in a few minutes. Sat patiently waiting 1 m away from counter and the twoservers until 9:20 AM. Not a single word of acknowledgment from the servers during that time. Finally, gave up and went to CobsBakery for two cinnamon buns. Read more
Found a new favorite coffee place! I got the latte with oat milk and it tasted great! Also love the relaxing spacious atmosphere... and patio area outside. Will definetely try to come every now and then even though it's a drive out from Calgary. Read more
A cozy place for a quick bite or pick-me-up. Decent food, good coffee, nice cozy feel with the fireplace. Staff seem not very... knowledgeable and are not super friendly however. This place could use a good clean but there is a ton of potential to thisplace. Would love the see some more care put into this place. Read more
Incredibly slow and rude service. There where 2 girls working behind the counter and we had maybe 4 people ahead of us in line... and we still had to wait almost an hour to get up to till. Watching the staff work was excruciating as they cleaned the sameareas or cups over and over again instead of moving the line along and completing orders. It wasn't as if the customers in frontof us where ordering a ton of food they only ordered a coffee and maybe a muffin or cookie that was already premade from theshowcase. When we finally got to the front of the line the staff didn't even greet us or say anything to acknowledge that theysee us and will be with us in a few moments. Instead we where waiting there in silence for another 10 mins before someonefinally asked what we would like. After buying about $100 of coffee they told us they will get in from the back and bring itright out, this took another 15 minutes before someone finally went to the back and came out with our coffee. They get 2 starsonly because the coffee itself is really delicious. It's too bad as the location is beautiful, the smells inside are great butwith the lack of of friendly and efficient customer service it just ruins the experience all together. Read more
