Reviews for Cabeza Grande in Cochrane, AB
Great lunch today. We had the Enfuego Burrito and a Tijuana hot dog. So good! Clean tables and friendly staff! Warmed us up on a... cold day then cooled us off with the cold beer! Read more
This is my most favourite taco place in Alberta to date. Canmore and Cochrane locations make their tacos just yummy and fresh... for an affordable price! (Thank you for keeping it that way!) ...I also love the deco and the service. Their churros aredelicious and fresh too :) in my photos: crispy avocado, jarritos, bangin shrimp, baja fish, duck taco, and churros ???? Read more
A beautiful little restaurant in Cochrane! I love the decor and innovative flexible seating with teal chairs and bold murals on... the wall. Now the food part, I am not a Mexican but had many opportunities to taste good Mexican food. This restaurant fallsshort in that department. Their menu is very well put together. The flavours are missing the mark. We ordered many types ofTacos and appetizers and the only dessert on the menu but it lacked authenticity and had bland flavour. I suggest they need sometime to fine tune their recipe. Overall a good experience but it could have been better. Read more
Best Mexican Food/ Restaurant in the province!!! Great atmosphere. Staff are very knowledgeable! I wasn?t a fan of tequila... until I tried one of their amazing margaritas. Came here with some visiting family to show them our go to taco place. I?m so sad. The chips and salsa was the worst excuse for... salsa I?ve ever seen. The salsa comes in a container for ketchup and about the same size ($8 is way over priced) The breakfastburrito was completely void of flavor, no salsa, no cilantro. Just eggs cheese tater-tots and some beans. The Huevos rancheroswe?re decent but as with the rest of this recurring theme, were incredibly small. A third would have been appropriate for theprice point. Coffee was severed well but the milk was served with a long shot glass. So naturally the milk runs down the glassand causes a mess. No stir sticks to stir your coffee either. The overall feeling is, how much can they cut, without peoplegetting upset. I loved this place during the summer for tacos and drinks but it feels like something has changed (not in a goodway) maybe it?s new ownership, new chef or a combination of the lot. Our server Lauren was very kind and a sweet girl. This isa management issue that feels cheap. I?ll give this place another chance in a few months but as of now I?m just so disappointedat what used to be one of my most favorite places. Read more
Pleasantly surprised with our first visit, but it sure won't be our last. Great atmosphere and fast, friendly service. Food was... super tasty, especially the En Fuego Taco, which was my favourite! Lots of different people here, young couples, families andeven some of us older couples. Great evening for all at a reasonable price. Read more
