Excellent countryside restaurant and microbrewery! It is located in a small charming farmland community of Cobden, just off... highway highway 17, close to some of the most amazing whitewater kayaking and rafting resources in the country, hence the nameof the restaurant. :) The food was of excellent quality, service was quick and friendly, restaurant is tastefully decoratedwith a small shop inside for purchasing microbrewed beer and other local goodies. I was pleasantly surprised by not one but 2Tesla charging stations in this restaurant. There is also a patio are on the side of the restaurant. Everything we ordered wasdelicious, particularly fish & chips and fish tacos. Beers were very good too, we had the Legion lager and Lemon & Lime lager,both were crisp and refreshing, perfect for a hot summer day. Recommend all the way! Read more

Excellent customer service! Amazing food and the beer was a perfect compliment to our food because it was light tasting and not... heavy. I love that they have vegetarian/ vegan options too! Stopped in here for dinner. There were two tables occupied, and a performer playing/singing way too loud. We couldn't eat... because we didn't have a reservation (despite only two people there), but couldn't make one as they had stopped takingreservations for the evening (?). Saw some food comong out, so we went back the next day for lunch (unplanned, or we would havemade a reservation), this time there was only ONE patron, and they begrudgingly seated us. Ordered the Burger and the fishtacos. The food took almost half an hour to come out. Burger was nicely presented, but served on a cutting board. I would haveappreciated a plate. The buyer however was sad. Thin and overcooked, the bun was nice, but there was literally just a piece oflettuce on it. The fancy cheese, applied on the grill, had entirely melted off. The fries were nice looking, but dry and cool. The tacos looked good, but fell flat on taste. Not bad, but nothing to rave about. The beer this place makes is good, hence thetwo stars, but skip the dining experience. It's not worth it. Read more

I did not expect to find this gem on the roadside in Cobden. The beers seem to be tending towards fruit sours, but I have no... complaints with that on a warm sunny day. A pleasant and modern dining room was a great setting for a roadside lunch. Wellrecommended. Read more

Had 2 piece fish and chips. It was really good but a lot of food. Next time I will probably get the 1 piece. The tartar sauce... was some of the best tartar sauce I have ever had! The ketchup was also really good. I think both must have been made in house.They have some cool shirts for sale, especially for people who have just returned from a weekend/ day of paddling in Algonquinor on the Ottawa River which was my group and I! I will definitely return here after future canoe trips heading back to Ottawa. Read more

The dining room is big comfortable and bright. The menu is has a variety of delicious options for many. They have a gluten free... bun. The chipotle burger was amazing. The beer is great! With plenty of other drinks too! Read more
