The grounds are beautiful and if you go during live music, it can be pure magic. I have been three times and have found the... service very hit and miss. Last time I was there, I waited over 20 minutes for a drink to be brought to the table despite it notbeing very busy. When we ordered food at the 50 minute mark we started to wonder if it was going to show up. When we asked, wefound out they had taken our payment but forgot to put the food order in. They were apologetic about it and gave us freedrinks, but it doesn't make me want to go back any time soon. Read more

The cidery is beautiful but they don?t know what a dry cider is. I order the new world flight which was supposed to have a mix... of dry and sweet but it was nothing but sickeningly sweet ciders. My friend ordered the oven brick bread which was almost stale.It had no flavour at all, the 2 sauces it came with were a mediocre chutney and a plain tomato sauce. It was not worth it atall. Beautiful spot, bought a ton of delicious cider for a wedding and wanted to come back as a guest and enjoy the scenery and food.... Very confusing system in place when ordering, no flights allowed outside, buy smaller plastic cups if you don't want glassoutside. Flights are essential to ciders and breweries. Food was good but a little too much sass and shoulder shrugging from thetall young man at the till when ordering food. Went on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't too busy. The dining area is quite spacious and bright, but not too hot. The orchard... looked gorgeous and well maintained. Ordered some cocktails and hummus with naan bread which arrived quickly and were verydelicious. Would visit again when in the area next time. Read more

The food was great, most of the employees were incredibly friendly and personable other than the young man with longer hair... running the till who wouldn?t stop staring at us. He made the experience quite uncomfortable while we tried to enjoy ourselection of ciders & worked with confusion when we went to pay, no manners. A casual rustic farmhouse venue with lots of windows flung open to let in the fresh air. Very cool! Menus are at the tables and... you head to the counter to order. Birthday dinner with my kids last night. Loved the wide variety of vegetarian options. The chickpea pot pie was delicious!!! I... have the cocktail flight which was tasty but I would suspect a very low alcohol content. The brownie dessert was more thanenough to share. We sat outside which is a nicely covered and heated area for all weather conditions. And they had a lovelyblanket rack if you get chilly. It is self serve replacing your order but they bring the food to the table for you and it wastruly a lovely experience. The grounds are gorgeous.
