We had brunch. Everyone was super friendly and seated all 9 of us in a timely fashion. Food and service was excellent! Thank... you! They give you made from scratch, huge plates of hearty food. My friend was so excited about their homemade coconut cake.All that, 9 people and it was $105.00. How can you go wrong, please keep supporting this local restaurant. If you want some genuine down home cooking from breakfast to dinner, this is a great place to go. Unfortunately, they aren't... given advertisement on interstate signage but take a detour off 75 at the Norris/Clinton exit and give this restaurant a try.You'll thank yourself. Good selection of staple dishes where everyone can find something they like. The service was really good and we liked the fact... that things are not over seasoned like in some places. Recommend the Ham and Cheese Sandwich and the Hearty Breakfast. Do notrecommend the fries. An error with our order was corrected quickly. Would eat here again if we were ever back in the area. The name originally drew me in. And the decor and ambiance of the place really gave a feel of eating in someone's cabin. The... staff was the most friendly and hospitable I have seen in long time. We actually came here after trying to go to waffle house, which was too busy. We were a little put off by the funny name and old... fashioned building but I'm glad we gave it a shot. We had our own little table which was neat, and the building hadpersonality. Service was fast and friendly. All day breakfast with good prices and right size portions.
