10/29/22 - I have been passing this place for weeks now meaning to stop, but never had the craving until my neighbor was cooking... & smoking meat today. The interior looked fantastic, brick on the outside, warm, log cabin on the inside. The price range is afair $8-12 per dinner/combo and always includes two sides. If it was anything like Buddy's in Michigan years ago, they normallygive you enough to feed two people in one combo. It was about the same as I got the pulled pork on a plate, to go with mac 'n'cheese & greens. I kinda wish I took a picture but I was too hungry to. The pulled pork was more like a soup... it was extremelyshredded in a pool of bbq sauce in my Styrofoam plate as if it was supposed to be a sloppy joe/manwich. I think I got the lastserving of the batch of mac 'n' cheese cuz half of it was dry. But the green beans were seasoned perfectly. I'd give this placeanother shot if they have regular deals or coupons, but it will be until I have another craving. Read more
So the Five Stars is for the Manager. We went through the drive through and placed an order. The order was incorrect. We went in... to correct the order and the Manager was extremely helpful and pleasant. Not only did he apologize for the errors but he hookedus up with our original order with extra serving and threw in a dessert. Mistakes happen we all know this and this Managerhandled it with great customer service. Will definitely return. Thank you Sir. Read more
My husband and I got food poisoning from this food and we noticed when in drive thru a worker dropped their gloves in the FLOOR... NOT ONCE BUT TWICE AND STILL PUT THEM ON AND SERVED! The men have long beards and no hair cover for them which I assume is whywe had a hair in our ice cream. We were in bed for an entire day and half after eating soured tasting brisket and beef. Make sure you check your order if you go through pick up. This is the third time they didn?t complete our order. We have called... and complained, but they only will refund what items were not on the order. What about compensation for your time andinconvenience? I am done with their incompetence in following orders, and their ability to compensate for their mistakes. Read more
I love the food at Buddy's. Always get a full stomach after drinking here. The dining room was the cleanest dining room I have... ever seen in any restaurant, the paper towels were folded so nicely, condiments were full, and the girl who was cleaning diningroom was super sweet. The lady on the cash register, short spiky hair, was rude when I asked for lids for my hot fudge sundaes.Had it not been for her snippiness I would have given it 5 stars. Read more
I used to like Buddy's BBQ and we are there quite often. But the new one in Clinton is horrible. We've gone there several... times and disappointed every time. Tonight is the last time. The chicken was dry and tough like a 10 year old rooster that wascooked last week. And please look at the attached photo to see what they have me when I ordered a piece of lemon pie.... Noteven half a piece was in the container, but they didn't skimp on the price. I will go there no more!! Read more
Came here for lunch. The cashier "Gina" was extremely rude to everyone in our party. She was making faces at us, rolling eyes,... and grunting. Beans and meat were cold, potato salad was hot, fries are undercooked. Very angry at the cashier right now. Buddy's is generally a good place to eat. Probably not this location. Read more
