A friend and her daughter was visiting from Tennessee and we went out for a late dinner. Not many restaurants in the area have... late hours. I have been ordering from Neo Sushi since I moved out to Annandale in February of 2020. The owner was the host thisevening and she was so accommodating. My husband has a restricted diet and she was able to put him a meal together with no salt.His fish was fresh and he enjoyed every bite. As for me, I indulged in a hibachi combo. The filet mignon melted in mouth likebutter and my meal was seasoned to perfection. SO DELICIOUS! Thank you Neo Sushi for never disappointing me and for your greathospitality. ?Treated? myself to a bday dinner?one of the highest priced menu items??..surf and turf hibatchi. I actually think this is THE... most expensive item; not certain though. The lobster AND the meat were small diced portions of overcooked, dry meat (lobstertoo). You would think this was prepared for a toddler or an elderly person who can?t chew. Actually?CHEWY really IS the bestword to describe this food. Like chewing gristle. I?ve been reading reviews and it?s always the purchaser?s fault or the faultof the front-end girl?anything other than maybe they need to rethink the quality and preparation of their food. When I called tocomplain, I spoke to the owner who told me that I was wrong, their food is ?adored by all? and was trying to ?start trouble?.The only trouble I had was paying $50 for an inedible meal. Great sushi, even better location and hours. We were enjoying the cooler weather out in this part of NJ and found ourselves... looking for something to eat before heading home ????. It seemed at this point of the summer everything was closing at 8, notthis spot. We opted to eat outside and further enjoy the outdoors and watch the sunset at their cafe tables. Read more
Solid, budget-friendly sushi and sashimi. Fish quality and roll construction are both good, although each type was a mixed bag.... While it may be my own perception, it felt like the spicy yellowfin was waay above the others like salmon+avocado. Non-fishitems like the miso and noodle soup were also tasty. Food was great but it wasn?t until I was gonna eat my salad when I realized that there was a PIECE OF MASK on top of my... cucumber. I still can?t understand how it made it there if the mask is not supposed to be close to any food, unbelievable. Read more
Great local sushi establishment! The rolls can be a bit pricey but every time I've gone it hasn't been crowded. Service is quick... and the sushi is fresh, made to order. I've gotten take out a couple times as well and the quality is just as good! Read more
The spring roll dynamite roll and summer roll are all good and the miso soup the hot tea is a 8.5/10 it?s a good seafood place
