While we were traveling to Ga. We've decided to stop and grab breakfast from this Waffle House. Only to find out that all WH's... are not created equal. This particular one had us eating out of to go boxes. We should have left, but my family was hungry. Sowe've decided to eat in while it rained. Stopped for breakfast on the way to out vacation destination. Service was great, food was great and staff was very friendly!
When you go to a restaurant and the quality of food gets a higher grade than the quality of service, it really doesn't speak... volumes about the overall experience. A snail could have moved faster and been more cordial than the waitress. I alsounderstand, that as a single mother, you occasionally run out of options and have to take the kids with you to work, hell my momhad to do it with us kids. However, when you allow your kids to be disruptive, bother other guests, lick the tops of saltshakers because their bored, and other such noticeable conduct, then bringing them to work, may not have been the only option. The air conditioning wasn't working, so with stoves going, it was pretty hot in there. But the employees worked hard and were... very polite and efficient. The food was good, the coffee was great! Read more
It was busy so I guess that's why we weren't greeted. I noticed a customer at a booth having a friendly conversation with a... worker. There wasn't anywhere for us and others to sit while we waited so some people just left. We waited over 20 minutesbefore a table was "available" but I had to ask someone to clean it. And guess what, she said someone else would. By this time,the dude taking up a booth decides to leave so the lady is available to clean the booth. I was so annoyed by the lack ofcustomer service. I visit lots of waffle houses throughout the city. This was the WORST experience. Plus they didn't even cookmy bacon extra crispy like I asked. If I could give negative stars I would. Read more
Walked in around 11:pm and seen water on the floor and kitchen along with dirty tables with food left from previous guest, the... back counter where the cooks cook food had cooking ware with dried up food on the along with skillets and stuff, bottom line isi different feel like this would be a good spot to eat considering i seen no employees around while i stood outside writing thisreview, just looked nasty in their, no 1 is around to clean off the tables, mop the floor or clean the cooking station...15minstanding here outside the window and haven't seen any workers yet...I pass on this 1 Read more
Extra busy that night, so there was a wait for seating and a clean table. Food was good, but the grill could have used a spot... cleaning between orders. Service was good considering the late night rush, and the price and quantity of the food was right on. Read more
