See update below original review: Unfortunately, myself and my family had a horrible customer service experience at the Captain... D?s in Clinton, MS on September 11, 2022. While attempting to order, I had questions about different fish options (that I didnot see posted on the sign). My husband asked if there were grilled options, and she told us the options, my husband then askedif that could be made into a meal, and the attendant said to him ?I just said that didn?t I?? Into the speaker, she also said,?ugh, this day just keep getting worse.? I?m not sure how a customer asking questions about meal options worsened her day, but,I immediately told my husband we wouldn?t be eating at that restaurant. My husband, who?d been looking forward to this mealsince before we went to church, decided instead of going through the drive through he?d go in for service. Unfortunately, thesame rude person was a the counter. He began the order, which started with our family meal and not the salmon he inquired aboutfor me earlier and she said ?So now you don?t want the salmon?!? He then said ?am I not allowed to order multiple things?? Shethen said, ?then why were you asking about salmon if you?re not going to order it?? He asked for the manager. To our surprise,she said she was the manager! Linda (she wouldn?t provide her last name). My husband wisely decided we wouldn?t be eating theretoday. It?s unfortunate that this individual missed an opportunity for service recovery multiple times and, as a person in aleadership position, set such a poor example for the other employees. I?m sure this is not the experience corporate leadershipwants their customers to have. Update : Sept. 18 Thank you Captain D?s Clinton for taking such good care of me and my familytoday! This Captain D?s food was old and nasty. They tried to refry the shrimp basket and it tasted like it. The breading was hard and... greasy. The cheese sticks were at one point fried then apparently they tried to reheat the food. My 9 year old just refused toeat! With food cost increasing I?m very upset they even sent this out. It wasn?t like I was rushing them. Read more

Food wasn't all that great at this location and out of alot of things. Employees rude. Woman wanted a refill on her tea, she was... dining in and was told by employee that they don't do refills, that she would have to pay $2.48 if she wanted more tea. Thisplace needs to be shut down, if not the building looks like it will fall apart by it's self, bad upkeep on property. Read more

Our order was wrong. I'm always nervous when they ask me to pull up and they'll bring my order out, but usually because they... always forget a sauce I request. This time, I got home after ordering 2 country-style fish and shrimp dinners with differentsides, and I only had one that was country-style and only one had the shrimp in it, although we paid for both. In addition, Iwas also missing requested sauces. This is a convenient location, but very disappointing to pay for something and not receiveit! Read more

Slow service, constantly sending wrong orders. They need to take a day and clean restaurant. Definitely, need more workers. The... young man was nice. But, clearly overworked. He was doing 3 jobs. Need more employees to help prepare and expedite orders whilemaintaining safety. Read more

Clinton location has poor lighting around the store. Safety issue.
