We are new to the area and visited Clinton, which is BEAUTIFUL! We were on the opposite side of the road from 303 Jefferson when... someone went inside. We didn't know it was a restaurant, but we smelled that it was! A quick search on Google confirmed that itwas a restaurant with good reviews. The outside is unique with rustic whimsical decor, and that is continued inside, withoutbeing cluttered. The atmosphere was small town diner type but it is more of a upscale offering as well, with cloth napkins andgourmet type meals.The lunch menu was small but perfect! They had a lunch special that was Southern type cooking, but we orderedburgers. They have several toppings you can order for extra, and I did so. You also choose your bun! The food was rather priceybut worth it. We were stuffed and happy. Then, right before we left, we had a visitor to our table, checking on how our visit tothe restaurant was. Turns out, it was the owner! We were impressed to meet him and chat with him, and that made the experienceeven better. We will definitely go back to this place and plan on taking family when they visit. Read more

We celebrated our 31st Wedding Anniversary here & I had the Blackened Grilled Shrimp & my husband had the Red Fish with crab... meat.......... it was Amazing & I also had a Bloody Mary so you just can't go wrong with any of this! The food was amazing. I had the blackened redfish with baked potato and green beans. The fish was perfect. One of my friends... had the sweet potato fries as one of her sides. They were the best sweet potato fries ever. Seasoned perfectly with crispyoutside and soft inside. She called it the 'chef's kiss'. Our server was attentive and answered all our questions about menuitems. You MUST try the pecan pie with bourbon sauce. It's served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Read more
