I went here on a whim after reading the reviews. I order the fried shrimp w/ collards and green beans. I waited in my car while... they prepares my order & they actually delivered to my car when it was ready!!! It was sooo good! So good in fact, that Iordered the same meal the following evening. So I stopped at this spot with my friend and let me tell you the crabs cakes did not disappoint this place should be on TLC ,... reasonably priced for fresh sea food. I had such high hopes for this place after reading reviews, but was left disappointed. I got the rib sandwich which comes with... about 4 pieces of ribs (maybe 5) and 2 pieces of bread. It didnt have any taste and didnt come with bbq sauce even though irequested it. I also got the fries with crab and shrimp but there was very little crab and shrimp. I think i saw only 2 or 3baby shrimps and there was barely any crab. This was the only item that had potential if they gave proper portions for theprice. Read more
1st time going here. 5 Stars for Quality of Food and Customer Service. There was a snafu with the order but had no issues... correcting. The food was delicious and worth every penny. Coming from Mississippi this was a real treat. The BBQ was banging andthe Shrab Fries (Phenonemal). Keep it up guys! Read more
Me and my bro ham decided to give it a try. He overheard someone at work raving about it. I can't speak for him but I got the... shrab sandwich. It was actually really tasty but the portion size relative to the price... I'm not impressed. I joked that theymust've fished the seafood themselves and picked the crab by hand for these prices. I didn't expect too much by looking at the exterior but they serve up some really tasty soul food. Highly recommended. Stuff is... cooked to order so give them a few minutes to put together your plate. They have funky hours so check online or call ahead. Read more
Delicious soul food in an unassuming store front. The eating area doesn't have a lot sitting space, but their specialty is carry... out and catering. Those that do dine-in will be treated with fire fighter paraphernalia. However, the main attraction toFireman's cafe is the food. So disappointed. Had the shrab cake from the truck at an outdoor event and it was indescribably delicious. Needless to say I... couldn't wait to go to the shop. Tried twice but it was closed on the Sunday and the second time they were at an event. Thethird time is the let down. I finally chose a day and time when they were open. I ordered two platters. Unfortunately, they gotmy order wrong. One of they shrab cakes didn't have any shrimp and the second one had just one. I ordered Mac & cheese andgreens for one and potato salad and greens for the other. I only received greens in one. That was disappointing. Then nothingtaste indescribably delicious. Ok would be the best word to describe the two platters. I'm not giving up on Fireman's justyet...Next time I'll get a sandwich and fries. Read more
