If I was the owner/CEO of Wendy?s I would not want my brand associated with this location. Because their speaker box at the... drive thru is not working you have to place your order at the pickup window, there is only one at this location. I pulled up tothe line at 9:45pm with 2 cars ahead of me. Their system maybe could have been more efficient had they been pulling people up orto the side that had already paid or ordered, something a manager would most likely implement to keep things moving smoothly,but no. So, we patiently waited until it was our turn at the window where we were rudely told, now that it was past 10, that therestaurant was closed and would not take our order. When we responded that we had been in line waiting before 10 o?clock, wewere told ?you should have gone online and checked our hours, we close at 10.? Of course we asked for the manager, who basicallysaid the same, ? You should have checked Google Maps, we?re closed and we?ve thrown all the food away. This conversation isover.? .. as she closed, locked the window, and walked away. I have a hard time believing this was the actual manager, havingbeen a retail manager for 12 years.. but hey I guess maybe I should google that too? Never returning to this ridiculouslocation, they should be closed if they?re too understaffed to accommodate public demand and too undertrained to be courteous. Read more

Always an eventful trip whenever I go to this place I can't believe I paid $6 for a 10-piece chicken. 6 burnt ones and four cold... ones that were burnt usually when I go here their credit card machine is down and only accept cash and they seem to enjoy makingtheir own prices on food. Lobby was closed, many items on the menu were not available, the speaker in the drive thru was broken so the line took a very... long time and the person taking our order really had a lot of trouble taking it. The fries were somehow stale and soggy and muchmuch too salty and the chicken nuggets were stale. Read more

We went through the drive through (3 people total) and to start, their machine wasn't working so we had to order at the window.... We had ordered very small items. I had the 4 for 4, another person had the number 10 small, and the last had a baconcheeseburger without mustard. I think maybe the only order that was correct was the number 10 (asiago chicken sandwich Ibelieve). My 4 for 4 came without nuggets or a fry. The cheeseburger did in fact come with mustard. We did not receive thecorrect drinks. The service was not friendly or quick, however, to their defense it was very hot and they had some systemoutages which is inevitably stressful. I was disappointed and won't be returning, but hopefully others have better experienceshere that can influence me to come back some day Read more

Update 7/14/2022: I contacted Wendy's via their "Wendy's wants to know" survey / comments on 7/5/2022. I asked to be contacted,... and received a call within a few hours (Don't call; evidently they are swamped with the public's unhappiness). I was pacifiedwith mediocre concern, and the phone was soon handed to a "GM" or so I was told. I requested a refund of at least half of mymeal (see below, I spent $87.50 on my visit). He asked for my contact information, and indicated he needed to seek approval, andwould call me back. Fast forward to Tuesday 7/12/2022, when I (again) entered my contact information asking to be contacted,because I had not yet been called back about my refund. It appears it was just their feeble attempt to ignore (another)customers request to be compensated for (another I am sure) HORRIBLE experience. As the only recourse for discontent, managementobviously has no respect for Wendy's as a company; representing them with a genuine lack of respect, thinking that ignoringtheir shortcomings is valuing their customer base. The representation that they have so boldly shown certainly explains the poorquality of service at the Clifton Park location, and in turn tarnishes Wendy's reputation as a quality fast food chainrestaurant. In short I recommend anyone who values their time, money, and self-worth should strongly consider ANY alternative toWendy's unless you like the feeling of not being valued as a customer. If this review finally prompts someone to finally call meback about my refund I would be shocked given the lack of concern up until now. I've visited this location twice in the last six months. The first time we were able to eat inside. Even though there were at... least four people in the serving area it took a half hour to get our food. At that time I was thinking "it couldn't get anyworse". Fast forward to this week. No inside seating allowed. The drive-thru speaker wasn't working so there was one window foreverything. Any orders were stacked up with people off to the side waiting for their food. When we finally got up to the windowafter 25 minutes they were out of half the items we wanted to order. Once I realized it was going to take another 20 minutes toget the half of food we could get we just bailed out. I know staffing can be tough these days, but this Wendy's location reallyis rock bottom. Read more

They have five people working in the food but yet we're waiting 30 minutes in the Drive-Thru to get food. Can anyone explain... what they're doing in there? It's not even 7:00. I ordered a head through the app and called them to cancel it and they saidthat they don't know how to cancel it. What a load of BS. Find someone to cancel it, it's not that hard. Read more

Ok so I know its just fast food, but this was by far one of the worst experiences ever!! It was around 830pm and nobody was in... line. The woman who took our order sounded SO miserable on the other end. Like it was painful for her to be working. We waitedprobably 15 minutes for our food. everything was cold. The fries were SO STALE, cold and HARD we couldn't even eat them!!! Whenwe got home and opened our sandwiches, the bread was hard as a rock you could knock on it. This was such a let down after paying$27 for food. Wendy's has always been one of my favorites and after this I'm not going to be coming back here... Quality controlhas gone WAY down. Read more
