We love to eat local and decided to give Michael's a try on our way home from vacation. The restaurant is a fantastic space... reminiscent of an old time sandwich counter. Was in town for an art show opening and dropped by Michael's for a quick bite in between art workshops. Not only was the food... delicious, I also had a chance to sit down with the owner. I enjoyed the Bonnies Blonde Pizza named after the owner as well as aPhilly Chicken Steak sub. The food was served hot and was full of flavor. Service was quick and the wait staff were on point. Such friendly staff that we felt like family! And what a wonderfully warm atmosphere! Much like that of being welcomed into a... personal italian dinning room. Their food is usually very good. But at 8:00 PM I ordered a spaghetti dinner with meat sauce and it was so dry I could not eat... it the noodles were dry and when I say dry having dried to the point that they were hard and crispy, crispy don?t say anything.I realize it was late to order spaghetti but it doesn?t take 15 minutes to cook a pot of spaghetti noodles and mine was dry andhard I know they had been laid out in a pan or what have you to get that way I did not eat them they were too dry to eat I didsave the pan of spaghetti called the next day. He did not want to replace it he wanted to give me 30% off another meal thatwould?ve cost me around $35 for one plate of spaghetti that was ridiculous I did not re-order I thought that he would replacethe spaghetti because it was not my fault it was dry and hard dried out. Not sure I?ll ever eat there again spaghetti to make ithome is cheap very cheap dinner. I?ll make my own spaghetti from now on. You can expect this out of fast food but not out of acooked meal. Got the Michael?s specialty pizza ???? once a few days ago and again today. Really good little personal pizza. Just over $10 for... a 10 inch with sausage, ham, green peppers, onions, mushrooms and extra cheese. Pretty sure the dough and sauce are homemadetoo! Read more

The place is clean. Parking is in the street so not much to say about it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They do... deliver and they go pretty far out to deliver. The calzone (turnover) I got was delicious and hot. Good size for the money andit comes with the first bit of sauce included! Also got a hot ham and cheese sub. Ordered a large not sure if what I got was alarge (you can see the picture) but it was very filling. I highly recommend giving this place your business. Read more
