What a charming place to sample wines/spirits from local vineyard from Meridian, Texas. There's some really wonderful flavors... Temp, Merlot, Sharaz. This afternoon we decided to take a drive to Clifton, and found the ?Red Caboose Winery.? We were very surprised at how... incredibly friendly the place was. We engaged in the wine tasting and in the wonderful conversation with the host and customers.I must say that the; ?Jan? Tempranillo; La Reina Tempranillo; and the Tanach were my favorites. The staff was just as lovely as the wine. I highly recommend the port.
I am so glad we stopped here! Met some friendly locals and got to chat with the manager. The wine was fantastic. We tried reds.... They will not disappoint. A hidden gem for sure! They have won a lot of awards for their wines. They also have sandwiches andcheese and meat plates. Make sure you stop here! It's worth it! Read more

We've been visiting this Clifton winery since it opened. The wines are excellent, and the service is also excellent. The folks... there are friends. Just wish they still served soup & sandwiches, but they do offer meat & cheese plates that are a niceaccompaniment to any wine they have. Read more
