Coming from San Diego I have had a hard time getting good, authentic Mexican food. But I?ve found my place! So far Ive tried... street tacos, mojarra frita, gorditas, pupusas, and soles. Everything, and I mean literally everything has been delicious andjust like home! Plus the service is fast and the people are kind! Highly recommend! Read more
We're originally from Los Angeles. This is pretty authentic, and as good as you'll find compared to places in East L.A.. We... ordered the #7 combo (tacos, gorditas & sope) one with chicken another with beef tongue (lengua). Excellent! Really. Theburritos were excellent, street tacos are as authentic as one could find. Priced reasonably too. Next time we'll try menudo(beef tripe soup) and or the Hondura Fried Chicken. Its the real deal when a Mexican restaurant serves "lengua" and menudosoup. Our family loves Nela's! We eat there once a week and have tried many of the items on their menu. Their bean & cheese pupusas... are THE BEST! We always love everything we order. The staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the restaurant is clean.Go try it soon! Read more
We just moved to TN from AZ and were worried we wouldn?t be able to find some good Mexican food. (We have a lot of authentic... Mexican food in Arizona, being so close to the Mexico border.)
