This is a very nice diner with quite a large and diverse menu including many cakes. I had the chicken souvlaki which was... absolutely delicious. Be sure not to forget the tzatziki sauce!!! The list of sides available were mostly starch or vegetableservings. Our visit was around 3:30 and it was quiet and the food came out very quickly. Everything was clean including thebathroom and our waitress was as nice as one could ask for as well as clearly experienced. I would suggest this diner especiallyto anyone since the menu has something for everyone. Great food and service! The portions are HUGE. You'll need to go boxes and bags for sure. One meal there can last you for 2... days. The slices of cake are awesome! 1 piece of cake takes up an entire to go box! I love their Italian Creme Cake. Read more
Definitely nice to see that these type of dinners are still up and running. Was expecting to walk in and smell baking goods... since they are right in the entrance or food but just smelled like cleaning solution. The food was not bad either. Portions arepretty large and servers are friendly. A slice of cake will feed a family of 4. Kids liked the food their so that was a plus. MyMonte Cristo meal tasted like it was fried in fish oil....I like fish but not want my meal that doesn't have fish to taste likeit ???? other then that would try again Read more
Breakfast here rocks!!! It's the best damn breakfast I've had till date in the United States and I've been to a lot of cities... and had a lot of underwhelming breakfasts. I had the single sunny side up egg, with 2 sausage links, toast, and house fries.Everything on my plate was so delicious. I was so happy eating it...you know how overwhelmingly happy you can get when you get areally good plate of food when you least expect it. This was the first time I ate a farm fresh egg and boy, you can sure tellthe difference! After that, I ordered a slice of cake. I was expecting a regular sized slice but it was so huge! Almost largerthan the size of my hand! I would have rated the breakfast 5 stars if it weren't for the cake. I found it too sweet and lackinga rich chocolate flavor (had the death by chocolate). This drops the rating by 0.5 for me, but I don't have the option to rate4.5 stars. I'm definitely going to have breakfast here again before I leave Tennessee. Read more
We are so very glad that we chose to come into this place. Every single person working was polite and took the time to say hi,... that's at least 5 different individuals who were not even waiting on our table. We thank each one of you. We felt like we werein a small town Cafe. The food was outstanding, the pancakes had a true cake like density that was yummy. We will definitely beback if we come back into the area. Read more
On our trip we stopped here for Dinner and again for Breakfast. Very diverse selection of meals. Anything we tried was delicious... and portions were big. All the staff was amazing and super friendly. Will have to come back on another trip to the area to trysome of their huge cake selection. Read more
