If you don't know by now, I don't really know what to say. Popeye's is the business. They have the best chicken sandwich.... Period. If someone tells you different, they have a garbage palate and you should stop taking advice from them. My friend is aHUGE Chick-fil-A fanboy and she even admitted Popeye's was better. Red beans and rice is fantastic. I mean, everything isamazing. You're not going to be disappointed no matter what you order. App has some really good deals, but beware, we gotscrewed once ordering in the app for a work party and when we got there several of the items were significantly cheaper at thedrive-thru. So for small orders where you're taking advantage of one of the offers you're golden. The wait at busy times ispretty rough though. But what do you expect; it's the best and everyone wants it. The location was on a busy street & you can tell right away. The drive-thru line was to the street. Always a plus in my book.... Service a mite slow, but due to personel issues I'm sure. Still my food was fresh, hot & the staff was cool. Read more
I'll still give this Popeyes a decent rating because the food is normally piping hot fresh and tasty. But the last time a went... there they wouldn't give me my small sweet tea with my meal. Don't know why, I provided them with a receipt showing I came withthe combo. They literally skipped me and started taking other orders at peoples car windows. Makes no sense what so ever to be waiting (20) minutes in a drive through line. If you don't have enough workers for the day... SHUT DOWN. I'm not understanding fast food lately. I went to Popeyes on Monday and paid $10 for a 3 piece meal with a side, biscuit and i drink. I got unsweetened ice tea. First... the drink was terrible, no tea taste. Tasted like water just colored. The chicken (dark meat) was dry like it was fried thatmorning and was still on the serving line at 7:30 pm. The mac and cheese was basic, chick fil a is much better. The biscuit,which i love, was hard and no moisture inside whatsoever, dryer than the chicken. I have not had Popeyes in a long time andwill jot have it again. Absolutely awful! Read more
Waited in drive thru line for over 20 minutes, when I finally placed my order the employee says there is no Tuesday specials... available... So I asked for the 10pc special not knowing there wasn't any dark meat at all. I received 3 wings and 7 breast... Idon't really like the breast meat... If the employee would have mentioned that I wouldn't have ordered anything. This locationis always slow and this is my first time coming here since last year... Awfully hard to recommend a fast food restaurant that has neither fast or a restaurant going for it. There is no sit down dining... option, there isn't even a carry out option, though they were doing pick ups for the DoorDash crowd. If you use the drivethrough brace for 15-20 minutes of your life you'll never get back and rudely aggressive workers that don't want to be there anylonger than you do. I'd blame the fairly lousy neighborhood but really this place is worse than it has any right to be with thedoors still open - well, figuratively (the doors aren't open lol). Read more
