This was my second visit and I will be back again. The oxtail was delicious although I could usually have eaten two helpings of... that- customers should be aware you don?t get a lot of meat for the money because tail bones are quite large? as you wouldexpect from the tails of beef cattle. In my opinion it doesn?t justify the nine dollar up charge to buy oxtail as one of yourproteins.(but I do really love it so I got it as a treat) No complaints about anything else on the menu. Banana pudding comesin a container like a half size cottage cheese container and has nilla wafers on the top. I think the spice in it is cardamomand may be a hint of nutmeg because it does not taste much like bananas to me although tasty. There is a layer of sweet-spicedplantain on the bottom.(no no not at all hot) All of the chicken varieties I have tried are tender and very flavorful. Dobelieve the heat rating on the menu! Jerk chicken is hot. The fresh sauces are all delicious and the pineapple coleslaw is abit sweet compared to normal coleslaw but perishable with the spicy Jamaican food. I got a dinner box and it was heaped up sothat you could barely get the lid on. Read more

PERFECT. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The place was extremely nice and clean. I was greeted by two friendly faces. I... explained that I wasn?t sure to get and the young lady walked me through the many choices of hot and fresh food. I got thecurry box and it was DELICIOUS. Checking out the young lady was just so sweet. Definitely will be retuning! Read more

Disappointed they didn't honor the advertised menu. Was told I had to pay for toppings despite it says you get two. Said my... cabbage and plantains are considered 2 toppings, yet when I asked would an extra topping of cabbage be 50 cents they answer wasno $3.00 for a side. Clearly they need to change the signs to reflect their true prices. It this very competitive market formoney... customer service is what pushes you to the top of my list when thinking of places of like to go eat!! Read more

I'm here once a month minimum. Great flavors and variety. I like the idea of the bowls because you can definitely try multiple... things without spending a lot. I do have to add a lil hot sauce ???? to mine to bring the heat. Don't be intimidated by Jamaicanfood. It's absolutely delicious at this great lil spot!! ???? Read more

Glad they opened this on the west side. Awesome food, good price. Jerk sauce is tasty, can be a little hot for people not used... to spicy foods. If you like it hot, get extra sauce, it isn't too hot if you like it spicy. Read more
