When I say the BEST?.I mean the ABSOLUTE BEST EMPANADAS!!!!! I ordered two Hand-Held Beef Empanadas, one Open-Faced Chicken... Argentina Empanada, and the Avocado Chipotle Salad (pictured below). My mother has been telling me about this place for a whilenow and I finally listened. I should have been coming here for my empanadas! You will not be disappointed. Food was really amazing. Cuban, tripletta, empanadas esp the beef Argentina and the pastries were all delicious.
This place is absolutely delicious! Family run and just very cute overall. I had the veggie empanadas which were 10/10 and then... a cheese and guava pastellos which was one of tastiest pastry I?ve ever had! I?m already planning my return. Thank you Half MoonBakery. Read more
this place bangs. making it a point to stop by as much as possible when i?m in the neighborhood and try the whole menu. haven?t... even gotten to the tres leches/flan and stuff yet because the empanadas are so good (get the Colombiana and cheese onespictured, please, indulge yourself). friendly staff too. love this spot!! Half Moon Bakery???? has some sweet pastries ???? ???? as well as delicious Cuban/Spanish eats. I enjoyed the chicken empanada... and the Columbiana, a specialty item. I also got a kick out of the mango Jarrito© and quesita, overall a spicy and enjoyableexperience. I?ll have to return for some chipotle fries ????. Read more
This place was great! We went around 1230 on a Friday and they had a large selection of baked goods. Food was ready in 15... minutes. Their empanadas are not that large, but worth the price. You would probably want three, if eating them as your wholemeal. The Cuban sandwich is huge and a good value. Everything was very good! The beef empanada I got was just like the ones fromthe Island. I can't wait to go back and try some of the different flavors. Read more
