This was the first time my husband and I stopped here. I chose spaghetti with meat balls. I loved it. I can't remember what my... husband got but he liked it as I recalled.???? Read more

Unremarkable. Wasn't terrible. The waitress and atmosphere was great. I had Fettuccine Alfredo and my wife chicken parmesan. ... My Alfredo was pretty tasteless. After adding a good amount of pepper and salt, it improved greatly. Onion rings were verygood. The guy next to us ordered a steak and if we return, I believe that is what I would get, as it looked fantastic. Read more

Not much atmosphere but good American down-home restaurant and good service.

Meh....The food was just passable...as was the service. I get the idea they take very good care of customers they know, but... don't care a fig about those they don't. *First time was passable, but we were with a local person. The food was okay andthe service was decent. *The second time I had Fettuccine Alfredo. It was okay, but the sauce was very runny and it wasn't hotat all. Since there isn't supposed to be cream in Alfredo sauce, I didn't really get why it was so runny. (Possibly the cookdidn't strain the fettuccini?) It wasn't just mine, because 2 others had the same thing and theirs was runny as well. Mostly itwas extremely bland/ unseasoned. After adding the juice of 3 lemon slices, salt, and pepper it was fair. It certainly isn'tthe worst meal we've ever had, however it was a bit expensive for the quality of the entire experience. The service was notgood, however. (As with the third try, the server just ignored us; and we waited a long while to be served.) *Our thirdexperience was no better than the first two; in fact worse. (And we wouldn't have gone back, but were invited by a friend wewent to church with.) This time I had salad with "grilled chicken," and I use the term "grilled chicken" loosely. The salad wasfresh enough, but all it had was lettuce, shredded carrots, a boiled egg that was terribly over cooked...(the yolk was grayhalfway through), and that stringy, weirdly seasoned chicken. There were 6 of us, and it took forever to get our food. Theserver never came back to refill our drinks....one of the folks in our party had to get up twice and get the tea pitcherherself, because the server had just disappeared....again. And while not the fault of the restaurant, there were two differenttables of very noisy, badly behaved children. One of the children actually broke a chair he was sitting in because he wasfooling around. It was noisy and chaotic with the TVs on, the noisy tables, the windows with the shades all open an Read more

Only thing good was the beer. Messed up our order and had to be told several times before we ever got what we ordered. Don't... think we will go back. Read more
