one star, because the rice had a spoiled taste. Seriously tasted completely off. I'm not sure if it was the gravy from the... oxtail, or if the rice and beans were old. A friend recommended I check it out because I love Jamaican cuisine, but this was abig no for me. The jerk chicken had so many bones and it looked as though I had two chicken wing drummers and a half of a thigh.Sorry for $18 with tip and a ting soft drink, it was not worth it for me and I wouldn't go back. This restaurant and the owners are amazing people. My family and I have personally eaten at the restaurant several times and the... food and service have always been delicious. Last week I contacted Owner Ms. Carrol and asked if she would be willing to helpout with a homeless outreach that we do monthly and donate some meals. She did not hesitate, and immediately went into planningmeals and pick up. Two days later she provided us enough food to feed over 50 homeless individuals in our community. They werevery grateful for a hot meal, and we are beyond thankful for Ocho Rios and their owners and staff for their willingness to stepup and to give back at a moment notice. Thank you ????? We went in search of Jamaican patties to celebrate Bob Marley?s birthday! We found this place and boy were we happy we did!! The... owners were so sweet and friendly!! We discussed Jamaica and Bob Marley, it was so nice!! We had our patties, they weredelicious!!!!!! I wanted to eat a second one but sadly I was full!! My husband had a pattie and also had the jerk shrimp withrice. He thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Our friend had never had a Jamaican pattie before but he really enjoyed it as well!!! I?ve eaten at a fair share of Jamaican restaurants and this one is like eating home cooked, authentic Jamaican dishes. The beef... patties were soft, flakey and filled with beef. The perfect spiciness if you?re going spicy. I had the jerk chicken, peas andrice. Wow! Absolutely mouth watering. This is the way jerk chicken should taste. Stopped by after hosting an open house this past Sunday. The store was nice and clean, David was friendly, and the food was... amazing. I ordered the large Oxtail in brown stew, phenomenal.
