When my plate of hibachi steak and shrimp came to the table. I smelled a little odor. Wasn't sure what it was. I looked around... not realizing it was my hibachi plate. By the time I got half way through it my stomach started bothering me. I went to work on2nd shift and had stomach problems all night. Ended up in bathroom at home with food poisoning. The food is always good. But DO NOT GET TAKEOUT. The take out portions are horrible compared to when you dine in. From the start... of you dine in your meal comes with soup and salad but not for takeout. Same price less food and then on top of that your entreewill be not even close to what you get if you dine in. Service was terrible! This used to be one of my favorite places. Server seemed less than interested to be there let alone having... customers. Sushi was not what I wanted (what I wanted is pictured) and see those nice plates? Nope. None of that either...Shrimp was tiny and overcooked, chicken was dry... Steak was ok. The first round of drinks were ok, had to flag down server forrefills, to which he brought some orangish tea, so those with tea had to switch. Water was spilt on the table, no apologies oroffer to clean up or towel to do so. We were all very excited (it was most of my immediate family, no children... 8 people intotal) no one was satisfied and the bill was close to $140. Since I was going through Clemmons, I decided to grab some Japanese food at this location. I walked in the restaurant and was... immediately greeted by the front hostess. She was very nice and placed my order very rapidly and gave me my wait time. I orderedmy food for "to go," and the hostess allowed me to sit in their waiting area. There's a few TVs hanging along the walls, as wellas Japanese inspired decorations.this place was also very clean and tidy. I recieved my order but I forgot to check my orderbefore I walked out the restaurant. I asked for ginger sauce but was given white sauce bt mistake. Overall, the food was stillgood, and I will remember to check my food before leaving this restaraunt. Read more
