Alright, we have been ordering from Lumpy's for years and we were very pleased. However, of late, the ribs and chicken have not... met our standards. We ordered a slab of ribs and 2 chicken breast and 6 wings. We took the order to friends for dinner,especially after we bragged. Well, how embarrassing; the ribs were definitely not fresh, the flesh of the ribs were grayish,hard, burnt, and no flavor. The breast looked like chicken nuggets, hard, no flavor and dry. Wings were old and hard, would notcome off bone, no juice and no flavor. Obviously we were served food left over from maybe Tuesday, because you were closedWednesday. Shame on you for bad, really bad food. We will more than likely find a competitor, because we do like ribs, and atleast the half of chicken was tasty and juicy. Our friends were to say the least, not impressed, I tried to eat the food, we endup tossing over $60 worth of bughad tasting food away. We will be checking other venues. We provided honest feedback.Hopefully, you will in all honesty take this feedback and make adjustments. Do not serve old left over food, it's not a goodrepresentation of Lumpy's. Ordered 1/2 slab pork ribs and fries. Not sure how it?s prepared but didn?t feel as fresh and woke up with some dull stomach... pain. Maybe wasn?t lucky? The portions were great. Read more
I like the food, perfect grill taste, barbecue sauce on point, I had the bbq chicken Breast sauce of my choice lol and the mash... no gravy I don?t eat pork not to sure if it was some in but food was great definitely a nice spot! Had their food at the Barrington harvest festival. Food was decent, not great. One staff member was incredibly rude to me. Asked... a question about the line and she gave the worst attitude. Give your money to a business that treats people nicely. They made mewait like 15 minutes while serving a second line they didn?t tell guests about. I had to tell their customers about the secondline to avoid the wait myself to help them. Really sad. Read more
