Stella makes beautiful and delicious food and they serve us their mouth-watering dishes at St Anthony's Hospital Cafeteria on... Friday. Today I'm having Salmon with a gorgonzola cream sauce over fresh garlicky pasta and delicately cooked vegetables. Stella tops everything off with arugula, parmesan cheese, parsley and her smile. 10/10 experience, we had Greg as our server and he made sure we were taken care of! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about... the menu and provided us with the specials of the night, one of which I happened to try which was the fettuccine Alfredo withmussels, clams and shrimp, so delicious!! All around a great night, we are from Canada and we?re visiting for a short amount oftime and really do recommend this place !! Also I?m Italian and I know what good quality Italian food tastes like?..safe to saythis place did not disappoint!!!!! 10/10 experience Greg absolute rocket of a guy he?s the best, very friendly and welcoming couldn?t have asked for better company... during my trip to the US, I?m from Canada btw. Food amazing what can I say the taste buds were on point definitely coming backfor seconds. Don?t even think twice about it just come here and have a good time. Give him a raise and everyone else at thisgreat place!!!!!!!! The review below was made 4 days ago. Hard to believe things could deteriorate in 4 days. The issue was primarily our waiter -... same one we had 4 days ago. He was ?out of it mentally - really detached.? 3 of 4 dishes came out, but not my wife?s spaghettiand meatballs. He didn?t get her order in. The food was mostly good, but the mussels and clams Alfredo Special was bland,according to our guest with us. What a letdown. There were two waiters and two groups in the restaurant- certainly NOT avolume problem. We are now reluctant to return, especially with guests. Great, Great Food!! Made to order and from scratch. Don?t expect it out in 5 minutes. If you have a party of 4 or more, allow 20-30 minutes for them to prepare. If you like thincrust pizza with crispy edges, theirs is to die for. Do not recommend what so ever. On vacation and ordered to go. My husbands first thought was to turn around and walk out and boy... I wish he would have. Not one person was in there when literally every surrounding place was packed. That in its self is awarning. $50+ for a margherita pizza and spaghetti and meatballs. I?ll start with the pizza: sad. Crust was nice but the saucewas definitely out of a can. The mozzarella was sparse and the pizza was covered in basil so you couldn?t see how littlemozzarella was on it. And the tomatoes were thick and nasty. And for the Spaghetti and meatballs? I?ve made better spaghetti andmeatballs at home. Sauce was watery as hell and also out of a can. To sum it up: Great view and setting, Very Average for everything else. Prices reasonable. We seemed to get lost in the cracks... when it came to service and noticed a few tables that came in behind us get served their food before us. Just the act ofordering seemed unorganized and not systematic. This did seem like a mom & pop restaurant (& the name seems to suggest that)along with the pandemic might have handicapped this restaurants service but this is what we experienced and as first timers cannot say if it?s the norm. We had breaded mushrooms for a starter and Alfredo chicken plus gluten free Bolognese as mains. On thetasty scale it was 2, 3 & 4 respectively.
