This was my second time walking in and ordering to-go at this particular location. Similar to my first experience a year ago,... service was very slow. I understand that it has been hard for every industry to find & keep good help. The lobby was full ofpeople waiting on walk-in and online orders. What bothered me the most about this visit was the Manager was too busy chattingwith someone to step in and help. As I was leaving I found out the person the manager was chatting with was one of the owners. One or both of you should have stepped in to help the 2 gentlemen working it the back. Shame on you. The woman at the counter was great and informative, but I was skipped twice and so was another man next to me... it took me... about 20 minutes to get in and out . There was a young due that had the largest hikie I've ever seen on his neck n his hair wasall out of the net, he called people names very low n when they didn't answer he would kinda just leave it on the counter. Ordered Jetty punch with a buffalo chicken wrap and chips. Smoothie was ok, a bit watered down, not much flavor, but the wrap... was terrible. Very wet, way too much buffalo sauce, messy wrap, not much chicken at all, but the chicken that was inside I spitmost of it out because it was fatty and grizzle like pieces. Barely ate half the wrap but I opened up the other half just toshow you what it look like inside.Cost me about $13-14 dollars. I think I know why it was empty inside and I was the onlycustomer. I barely just paid and my smoothie and food was in my hands already as if , not accusing, they had already made it butsomeone changed their mind. Ordered from this location rather than my normal location on Roosevelt and sad to say I won't be returning. Not only did my Acai... Berry not taste as it should, but I started choking and my throat felt scratchy. To my surprise there was this plastic in mysmoothie. It?s always an awesome Smoothie experience at the Tropical cafe. I learn?t this place quite recently during my visit to St.... Pete?s, and was impressed with the wide variety of Smoothy and food options. This location is clean and people our welcoming.Nice clean restrooms as well.
