Ideally pla ed on Florida's Clearwater Beach & accessiblr directly from it, thid is the ideal place to have s beer & snack afyer... a day on the beach & watch the sun set. While not very big, this adds to its charm and there are seats both inside(air-conditioned) and outside so there are alternatives. Table service was very good & they catered for our party of 14 eithvery little fuss and managed to make sure everyone was eell cared for. Prices are reasonable (compated to, say Orlando) butdon't forget to tip the bar staff or they csn get tetchy. Read more

We love this grill! Service on the beach was fantastic! We requested bottled water, they brought us an ice bucket of Fiji... Waters, so refreshing! Then when we had a late night at the pool, we grabbed dinner, I had the Carribean Grouper salad and Iasked if the grouper could be grilles not fried, they said any way you like it that's how we'll make it. And oh my goodnessthis salad was so refreshing and delicious! Hubby had the Tates Classic burger and we ordered some fries to split but the basketwas so huge!!! And we got to watch the sunset it was such a beautiful night, and the bartender was great, and the waitress cameby frequently to check if we needed anything she was so great, those things are what make you feel like you're on a vacation!!! I was on vacation and checked out Tate?s. Pros - The service is excellent. Our waiter was constantly checking in to make sure... we had drinks and informed of when food was coming etc - The views are beautiful. As you can see in my picture, I would highlyrecommend checking this place out as the sun went down. - Food was solid, more bar foodie than one would hope for because it ispricey (expected though for touristy location) - Drinks were delicious. Cons - getting in the place was a hassle. don't walkin from the beachside unless you know exactly where to go because it was rough. Go through the front of you can. Read more
The cocktails were loaded at this place. Decent amount of alcohol to the mix. The views on the outside deck to the beach are... pleasant. A fire pit to lounge around and have drinks by. Pleasant place to the enjoy the sunset by. Read more
