The food was very bland. Shrimp wasn't cleaned. Most of the mussels in Steampot was empty. Dungeness crab tasted like it was... previously frozen. Alcoholic drink was weak. Spent a decent on a meal that was very mediocre. It was my 1st visit. There was no"Wow" factor to suggest another visit. Not sure what the issues are, but Joe's Crab Shack needs to step up their game. I wasvery disappointed. Read more
the waitress was very nice and friendly. food was excellent and super delicious! would recommend! we ordered the joe's crab for... 2 (crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes seasoned with old bay and garlic). we also got one of the special drinks thatlight up, very cute touch and yummy drink! I had fun at this place! The staff here are entertaining. I saw them singing for birthdays and even line dancing. So I pulled... out my paper apron and saw that the staff customizes it with a funny sea food description of you…I happened to be “Hot &Steamy” and my friend well I don’t want to say???????????? Ha ha ha! It was hilarious! If you’re looking for a coolseafood place to hang out then this is it when it comes to fun. This place has great seafood, a bit pricey for the portionserved Ouch! The drink menu has a great selection of fun tasty looking drinks I’d like to try. The decoration, outsidedinning, gift shop, sports bar, restroom was all on POINT. Was reallygood. But I was disappointed because they don't serve a whole lobster ???? at this location. That mean you can't get... the traditional steam pot (The Bean Town Bake) two lobster, clamps, shrimps, potatoes, sausage and corn on the cob, NOT at thislocation. The food was good. You can tell it's frozen and not fresh seafood. I got the Cajon Steampot. Lobster claws, snow crab, shrimp,... mussels, potatoes and corn. Everything cools off fast so you're left eating cold seafood. Be prepared to get your hands messy asyou Crack open the crab legs and lobster. It's an experience that you won't want to have on a first date lol. As soon as you seethe bib you know you're in for a messy time. Overall I'm happy I got to experience it. My nephew got the pepperoni pizza took 1bite and that was it. He didn't like it. He is a fussy eater though. My mom got the sampler as a meal and added hush puppies andloved it. Read more
We had a good experience on the patio with our waiter, Alexander. Alex is a salesman and an ambassador of Joe’s Crab Shack... ????. He made some recommendations, made sure we had everything we needed, and took photos of us. The food was good and wealmost started the happy hour, but we decided to hold off this time. The playground worked well for my son while we waited onour food. We’ll definitely be back. Read more
The crab boil was tasty! I would have liked it a bit more spicy, but it was flavorful. Left with a souvenir cup thanks to our... amazing server! The atmosphere was friendly and fun. If I'm ever back in or near Clearwater again, I'd go again. Read more
