Just don't watch the guy doing the first steps making pizza. Cuts the meat then puts some in a container and a handful into his... mouth - don't know how much he slobbered on his glove before he continues to handle the crusts. I hope the oven is hot enough tokill whatever he's spreading. Read more

Well it pains me to write this but I have to. With 4 hungry kids at home, they forgot my order. It was a 45-55 min estimated... wait time. I got there at about 65 mins as I knew they were busy(everywhere was busy). Tried OP and they were hr and 20 mins. SoI asked for my order and they were all looking around and then an older gal said, ?we haven?t started it yet?. I said you?rekidding?. Then I got reamed on how busy they were. I snapped a bit, wanted to know how much longer? We snapped it around, thenshe said it?ll get done when it gets done. I had a decent remark for the situation. Then she said gfy. And I said I will. I haveto say, Casey?s used to be my go to ?convenience store?. But this has solidified my decision that Keon Star is definitely abetter store and to definitely not go to this location ever again. Unfortunately your Clear Lake Iowa locations suck. The first stop where we go fuel right near I35 was temporarily closed. Not... sure why but that sucked. We really wanted pizza so we went down the road to the older Casey?s. Walked in noticed there was nopizza. Asked the lady in the kitchen how long it?d be and was told I don?t feel like making pizza so it?ll be 20-30 minutes. This sucked so my family left and went to Kwik Star. At least they had food out and ready. Don?t know if I?ll return to Casey?sany more. ???? Read more

Being short staffed is not an acceptable excuse for not doing what they say they are going to do. We had a large order for 20... people that we placed on line in order to get the reward points and make it easy for each family to order their own pizza. Afterseeing the completion time would be different for the last order, we called to ask them to make all the pizzas at the same time.Even if that meant waiting longer. They had our phone number and didn?t take 2 minutes out of their time to keep us from wastingan hour of our time waiting. It?s about communication. I understand being short-staffed, we would have waited 2 hours for ourpick up time, but it?s terrible service to not communicate the correct pick up time when they have your phone number and wecalled in advance. Pizza showed up after 1hour and 30 minutes luke warm and soggy.. Did not come with taco sauce.. I used to order from this... location all the time. Was my favorite. The last 4 times I have been completely disappointed.. Not only does every order takeover an hour regardless the day and time but the quality of the pizza has gone downhill. Afraid I will never order from themagain. Read more

I placed a pick up order at 5:17pm for a breakfast pizza, bone-in wings, and cheesticks with cheese sauce. Order was supposed to... be ready at 5:37 and I have never had an issue with late orders from Casey in Ames. Order was ready till 6:15. We were waitingat Casey's for 30 minutes. On top of that, the wings were boneless, and we were given marinara instead and charged us for cheeseanyways. We noticed this until we got home. We didn't check at the store so that's our bad but after waiting so much we werestarving and just left after getting the order. For the first time placing orders at the clear lake caseys(on hwy 18), it wasnot pleasant. Read more

Casey's are always my favorite go-to convenience stores. The 24-hour stores are even nicer due to the fact that, at least in my... city, they offer a much bigger menu selection of hot and freshly made food. Regardless of which Casey's I choose, I have nevergone wrong when choosing their pizza when in need of any meal. Always very, very good. Read more
